I hate it when as soon as the seatbelt light flickers, everyone stands up and starts moving towards the front... you wont get off the plane any faster, and all you are doing is getting in the way. I have had short connecting flights before, and that is scary but next time, make sure you give yourself enough time

I’ve always been frustrated by this. If they check it before TSA it’s 25/30$, and if they check it at the gate, it’s more hassle and work for employees, it’s still loaded onto the same plane in the same manner, but it’s free?

Unforgiven is a great movie and a well deserved win for Eastwood.

Sorry, I’m going to continue stacking plates wherever there’s too much plate and too little table.

Who is S. Lee?

Correct. “Most Directed” is not the same as “Best Directed”.

“when voting for Best Director in year-end critics’ polls, which movies most impressed me from a purely visual standpoint...”

Um that “restaurant freak” link seems like a bad ctrl-v? I mean maybe there’s a path from Pence to the Switch that I can’t connect

for today’s game against the Sound Tigers

I think it’s malware, I’ve seen it on phones and tablets for years. No website gives a shit about the kind of ads they use as long as they get paid, so sneaky scripts are put in that fuck up people’s phones and tablets.

A lot of chain restaurants give you a shit ton of plates, though, and a itty bitty table for multiple people. One time I ordered an entree that arrived on three separate dishes and when I asked for a side of some kind of dressing, that came on yet ANOTHER plate. I genuinely thought stacking was helpful, so it’s good

The amount of people here saying “I haven’t seen the movie yet, but here’s what I think about it” is embarrassing.

He gets fired and gets half his face burnt off. It’s not as though the film does not ‘punish’ him.

It’s a good film and well-acted. It has it’s own politics and never asks you to co-sign on them. Most cops are anti-black because it’s ingrained in the system, just like most cops are less inclined to believe in date rape. it is what it is.

It really wasn’t, love it or hate it. Now, Mother!—that was batshit crazy.

So, we complain about the trend of movies bowing to audience expectations, and then we slam movies for not being as woke (or the wrong kind of woke) as we expect them to be?

“so comfortable, he pushed the guy he won the award for playing, weirdo auteur Tommy Wiseau, away from the mic.”

Even for katie rife this is stretching credulity. Someone complaining about their wages after they signed a contract is now “sexual misconduct” as is hitting on someone years ago whose age he presumably didn’t know.

My takeaway from the 30 for 30 was two-fold. Tonya Harding had an incredibly difficult life and very little means or opportunity to escape a lot of the horrors that were part of it, either through birth or through the effects of a lifetime of abuse. However, at a certain point people are responsible for their own

It happened decades ago, he served his time, and he moved on. Why is it an issue to be broached now? Unlike most of these fucks, he actually faced public and legal consequences for his actions
