Don’t worry, no one who looks like that would be interested in you anyway.

Far from healthy? You must have a strange definition of healthy

Okay, I did see this movie, after reading all the criticism about it and you know what? It’s a damn good movie, very enjoyable, and Rami Malek does an amazing job. I don’t think they make it look like his sexuality is why he died, but they don’t focus a lot on his death in general. They focus on his life, which

So, there’s no latch on the door, just the striker.

That means the cable has to be body-mounted unless they went to a more traditional latch/striker setup (in which the latch is on the door).

It boggles my mind that there are people who buy cars with electrical release mechanisms for the doors, and don’t IMMEDIATELY do research to locate the mechanical fail-safe, which even the dumbest of common sense would tell you existed SOMEWHERE.

It boggles my mind even more that people refuse to read the manual for

Why does that matter? This is fiction. There are no real stakes in any movie. If you’re fine with watching movies without racking your brains about how they’re made up stories, with actors pretending to be people they aren’t, using props painted up to look good, on sets generated by computers, how hard is it to take a

There are no stakes in any movie because they’re all made up stories with actors playing make belief.

For FUCK’S sake, if the deaths that OBVIOUSLY happened are retconned, then what were the stakes for this movie??

Wait a minute, isn’t the grand sport basically the Z06 with just a regular engine? If you wanted a supercharged high horsepower grand sport, why not just buy the Z06?

Who told you to be 6’5” NOT ME

McGregor lasted six rounds with the greatest boxer in the world. Not like he embarassed himself up there.

What makes you think McGregor wasn’t paid to fuck up this event? The UFC doesn’t seem to be going after him very hard.

As much as I willfully continue to consume and enjoy Star Wars movies, strictly from a storytelling standpoint, there’s really no reason to continue with the movies after the prequels. They told a tidy, compelling space fairy tale. So if they are going to keep moving forward, breaking out of that template becomes

Incorrect. While the public view was “hunt down and arrest the Jedi as political dissidents”....Order 66 included mandates about force sensitives KNOWN to the Republic. Source: Tarkin novel.

In defense of the bloodlines are important, it was kind of key to the old 1-6 story. It works in the current narrative, the Skywalker bloodline is good for wrecking stuff and it’s up to someone else to pick up the pieces, but I agree that it should be moved beyond that now.

the stupid “bloodlines are important” idea

Yeah....but it was JJ who was setting it up. I like the guy and a lot of his work but I NEVER expect a full payoff from him....he doesn’t really like to do those.

How Darth Vader is portrayed in 4 is the exact opposite of how he would be portrayed if Lucas knew he was Luke’s father before hallway writing 5. What kind of movie would we have gotten if they had said “well, we didn’t set up this exact situation previously so we can’t do it!” Aren’t twists better with misdirects

I would have been so totally ok with her being a “nobody” if there hadn’t bee a bunch of foreshadowing in the first movie indicating otherwise.

Shhh...if you criticize TLJ in the slightest for not making coherent sense as a sequel to TFA, legions of fanboys will come out of the woodwork and claim you’re a sexist who doesn’t like women in movies.
