I loved those California Raisins figures! We got them while on vacation in the US so they seemed extra special. I was really into My Little Ponies, Transformers toys, Ninja Turtles, Rainbow Brite, Popples, Pound Puppies, Polly Pockets, Hot Loops, She-Ra, Glow Worms, Faz, Squabbles, you name it. The only one I could

Yeah, but it usually goes the other way, where you start getting really involved in Daddy Pig’s puddle jumping exploits and you worry about Ruby the Rabbit’s mental health when she’s always the caretaker for Max. Where are their parents? Meanwhile the kids don’t want to watch anything unless it’s 3D or flash

So it was you! Feel the wrath of my polite Canadian inaction! Judgiiiiing yoooou

The music alone justifies the existence of the trilogy.

I had a few complaints about The Phantom Menace, but I still enjoyed much of it. I do remember liking Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me more. It made this Austin Powers commercial weird in retrospect:

I know! I want it but I have so many other needs for that $100 right now

Too much exposition, feels forced. Done.

Supposedly the guy subscribes to an ideological movement called incel rebellion, or involuntary celibacy rebellion. They are dudes who blame society for the fact that they can’t get laid. That might qualify him as a terrorist

I never got into American Dad, so I hadn’t seen this. It was great!

Ontario politics stink right now. Thinking about it hurts my head.

I doubt the difference is that big between the US, UK and Japan. Japan has gender segregated rail cars for a reason. I suspect that people are less likely to report sexual abuse in Japan.

That cop had his hands all over her. That woman was so calm too, how can they lay charges against her like that?

Is this the complaint spot? I want to point the finger at doctors for not taking women’s complaints seriously, because that is one of the reasons women drop out. It’s like your symptoms don’t matter even if they interfere with your career.

Wait, we’re not supposed to like Juno? I’m new to the avclub

Over the top cheese is more of a personal taste issue than a structural problem in my view. Man of Steel had it’s fair share of cheese, though.

This is pretty random, but no matter where or when, I always tuck in my chair when I get up. I was in the library club in elementary school and high school, where we basically just returned books to their proper place on the shelf and tucked in the chairs. I don’t even think about it anymore, though I am a total slob

Looks like he tried to brake too quickly, then he lost control because of the rain. There was a bus and two cars ahead of him. We can’t see them or the first accident once they’ve passed the camera, maybe they all slowed down suddenly when they saw a truck on it’s side sliding across the road.

Reagan had alzheimer’s. That may have been a symptom of dementia.

Oh, I specifically was thinking of chicks. I’m sure they toughen up as they get bigger. I brought it up because the article started with the author describing how they received a baby chick as a present when they were a child. That chick was quite lucky to be in a family where the mother had an interest in raising

Gap should get rid of their outlet stores. I don’t care if they make more money or not, they’ve destroyed the image of the brand.
