What Did You Win?

I just have to comment on this.

Hey, i think your onto something there!

This is exactly how I feel. You are a consumer, if you don't like it - stop consuming it.

Both the Ghostbusters guy and the Frozen girl should shut the fuck up.

Would it be fair to say he makes different movies, but in the exact same way? His use of hyper-violence and the style of his writing, especially the banter between characters, is very distinct and is uniform across most all of his work.

Sorry to break into your squabble, but I came to that "tired joke" conclusion long before ever hearing it as a criticism on the internet. So, should i just stop believing it so as not to offend you?

A lot of the dialogue is cleverly written, but it couldnt sound more unnatural. People just don't actually talk like that.

Nope, that would be Kill Bill vol 1 and that's if you skip his contributions to Sin City and Grindhouse.

They both suck, I can't stand the way he writes dialogue and the novelty of his hyper-gore-fest-film-making wore off for me about five movies ago.

Mom! Stop swearing!

In Trump's case, you are correct. If he had said those things behind closed doors, he wouldn't be about to suffer an epic loss.

Ok, I see what you're saying now, but is it really the same when most all of the inflammatory things he said were stated publicly?

Survive what?
He intentionally walked away from his career, is insanely rich, and has an audience that would never leave him over something as stupid as this.

"When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best. They're not sending you. They're not sending you. They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists."

"Flyover" America hasn't been getting screwed over anymore than the rest of America has. "Flyover" America is upset that the demographics of the country are changing and they are having a collective hissy fit about it, channeling all of their hatred through the most hateful candidate our country has ever seen.

I don't really understand what that statement means.

"Citing the back-room deal-making and arm-twisting used by Abraham Lincoln, she mused on the necessity of having “both a public and a private position” on politically contentious issues." - NYT

Yes, whatever indeed.

Hillary isn't "scummy". That's what I take issue with.

You're right, I would be very surprised if any vague, baseless accusation you could level against her would change anyone's mind.
