Honestly, my first thought here was that those who started the lawsuit were resellers hoping to screw people later by gouging on prices, but couldn't when Dodge announced more models later. If that’s the case? Hope they lose and they can all rot; no respect to people like that.

Anyone who paid $113k for a Durango has zero credibility right away. 

Sounds like a bunch of mad scalpers, boomers, NIMBYs, and pavement princes reminding us that they have problems too. But if these guys are making a big deal out of this, it sounds like 0-60 in 3.5 seconds from an SUV won’t make them happy, therefore it’s likely that nothing will.

The bigger question here is - if this were a normal consumer would GM cover the failure under warranty? GM has a bad reputation for denying engine related claims on their performance cars. They go out of their way to place blame elsewhere. 

The muscle cars of that era have tons of issues outside just Huge motor for the HP.

GM only makes ~10% profits over their expenses on a good year. Just because they’re making Billions doesn’t mean they’re “making handsome profits”. They’re also spending billions to get there.

That’s obsolete union ingrate logic for ya...they’d rather destroy themselves and everything around them than be satisfied with what they have and do their job...
