Is it really that bad?  Metal Gear didn't make a bit of sense at the end but people didn't care because the game played great.  I assumed it would be the same here.

We did that story as an introduction to the Socratic method on the first day of English my freshman year of high school.  God am I old.  Also, it was obviously some sort of robotic tiger controlled by the lady.

It's certainly effusive praise for a game, but this is the sort of game idea that at least seems to warrant it.  The developers took a gamble on game design and the reviewer thinks it paid off beautifully; I think that deserves to be written up with phrasing beyond the usual 'I thought this was good.'  If he had

It was developed as a PSN exclusive, but it might be ported eventually.  SCEA might be the publisher, but it isn't as if it was developed by an actual subsidiary of Sony.

They appeased me with the HD releases of Ico and Shadows of the Colossus, but they have nothing to offer us if they delay it again.

Pulling all the fire alarms in the school, he looked ecstatic.

The scene is definitely tragic, but the guy who announces it makes the movie a comedy for about a half-second.  Go ahead and think about him yelling, "ASS TO ASS."  It is just funny.

I believe it will be airing the same time as Game of Thrones, which means you have a better option should the season turn out dull.  Hopefully Game of Thrones won't disappoint either.

It really doesn't say anything great about his career when he has more roles that are nouns and not proper names.

I"m not a Gervais hater either, but I think that would be a welcome twist for that show too.

Merzbow.

When is that not true of post-rock in general though?  It took me a long time to come to that realization, but I reached it last year while enduring a thunder storm to see Explosions in the Sky play for 45 minutes.

U2.  I am just really curious about who is shelling out tons of money to still see that band play.

A lot of the more indie-hip hop works a bit better live.  Jurassic 5, the various projects of Doseone, and Blackalicious, were all pretty great concert experiences.  While I can't say I have seen it myself, Ghostface, who I like more than anyone else I mentioned, was supposed to be terrible live.

Being in her 20's and still looking like she is maybe 17 is technically a sign of good genetics on her part but still sort of makes me feel like a dirty old man.

Doom bands can kind of vary tremendously based on the venue.  It isn't a question of the acoustics in general so much as the sound engineers working a particular gig.

The cane really sold that bit.

The most interesting thing about the Kaling podcast was finding out that her parents were very supportive of her comedy career.  Apart from that, it was the dullest narrative progression of her career.  The Kaling episode was a mutual war of contrition and passive aggressive behavior.

We can only hope Toucan Sam or Count Chocula will show up next week.

On that show, Cranston generally sounds very worn down and perpetually on the verge of losing his temper over something.  Here, he sounded somewhat closer to a generic action hero.  If you didn't notice, I suspect it is because, unlike Benjamin or Parnell, he doesn't have the most distinctive or recognizable voice to
