I had held onto the theory that case involved some sort of Observer too.  Perhaps there are some sort of illnesses or dangers specific to being an observer that might lead people to regress to some feeble state.

Note: If every a character in a science fiction story asks about where they or something is from, be prepared for someone else to reply with some variation of, 'the question isn't where, but when.'  I loved the scene between the Observer and Peter, but I really hate that they had to use that terrible line.  Otherwise,

That is pretty much it.  Ivy League schools hadn't all gone co-ed until the mid 1970's so the legacy admission would have had to have come from his father's side.  Could his father still trace his roots back to Africa and be the sort of WASP who is a fourth generation Ivy League grad?  If you don't over think it like

Again, I just didn't think that that guy at Dartmouth could count on his kids being legacy admissions.

I sort of stupidly assumed that legacy admission spaces for the children of black alumni weren't a priority, even if the school did admit black students.

"fifth-generation Ivy League legacy"
Um, this would require him to be mixed-race, right?  I would imagine that a fifth generation Ivy League legacy would have more relatives that are closer to northeastern blue bloods than a guy who can trace his ancestry back to Africa.

Agreed.  The deep cuts from the album are really what keep me a Bizkit fan.

No Limit albums also also blue plastic to make the CD cases.  Apart from that, @avclub-12c587c9ed3b9edc910316b5954e12c5:disqus got to the differences in cover art.

It is entirely too easy for me to picture DMX in a boxing ring with a labrador retriever.

If an artist I don't care about has to remain relevant somehow, I prefer it be for things like this.

The weather where I live just went from unexpectedly pleasant to typical winter weather, so it is tempting to do the same.  I can't get out of the plans I already made, but Jesus that preview makes me wish that I could.  Alternately, Fox could just try moving this show to some night where it isn't competing with

Finally, a new background image for my phone and computer.  Good find.

He could be talking about the real estate market too.  It isn't exactly a prescient insight, but Durst is correct that game/bubble did indeed pop.

I think he is saying that music is some sort of whore.  It's really deep when you think about it.

No offense to Ashley Fetters, but I really would have preferred to have O'Neal break this sort of new to us.  That opening sentence, however, is still a thing of beauty.

I watched that clip because it was linked from this very website.  Maybe my expectations for Ke$ha and SNL are so low, but I really didn't get why it was decried as such an abomination.  Her songs are still tolerable to okay, but who was expecting her to be an amazing live performer?

"What SNL represents is legitimacy for musicians that the
Internet, no matter how ubiquitous a presence it has in (some of) our
lives, decidedly does not."  Legitimacy in whose eyes?  Not that the internet can confer legitimacy on anyone either, but what is legitimacy for?  As with the Grammy's, subject of another

I thought the best use of Todd Barry was having the Chinese prostitute trash the tv while watching a performance of his.  From her crazed look to the banality of the jokes Barry was telling, the scene had the perfect juxtaposition of Barry's persona and the way the world of Delocated treats him.

They had an impressive number of cliche jokes to turn into terrible vodka jokes.

While I think they are both playing it the same way, the directors treat it differently enough.  The camera zooms in, if not cuts to, Krasinski's face when he does his, 'look at that guy!  woah!' expression.  For now, Plaza makes the same expression but the director doesn't do as much to emphasize it in the shot.  I
