I love every word of your post so fucking much.

I’m in Canada, and I think I grasp what the First Amendment is better that most of you people.

It means that the government cannot jail you, nor pass a law to stop you from speaking. It does not mean that a private employer has to put up with employees that offend them or even allow such people on their property. It

It’s not doxxing when they proudly showed up in a public place.
They’re so proud to show up and march, let them face what they proudly started.

I hate that I laughed, but I did.

I am positive the Boston Bombing was called terrorism. Before they even had suspects, it was called terrorism. The World Trade Center also, obviously (both times). Fort Hood. LA airport. The UNC attack (in fact another instance of a car deliberately driving into a crowd). Those were all called terrorism. Openly,

Wondering from Canada; what does the hospital bill for something like that come to?

Fair enough. But I bet his former friends, family, and public supporters are starting to reconsider which side of history they’d like to be on.

I haven’t heard one person use the phrase “white terrorism.” Where are you hearing that seriously used, besides other touchy, nervous white people?

I feel like there is more nuance to this.
But my brother used to physically abuse my younger sister. Not me—just her. If you playfight with her, she use sway more force than expected; I once saw her knock a guy almost out when he was clearly just being playful. He was stunned, but he crossed some invisible line.

I brought that up to my husband once—because he had been hit by ex girlfriends. I waxed about how men are physically abused but it’s socially unacceptable for them to admit it, so they suffer in silence the same things we sometimes suffer.

He pondered a long moment, then finally admitted that was “true in theory,”

Posted to Saturday Night Social but maybe it will get more notice here:

I usually don’t care about being in the greys but I really wish I weren’t, for this one...

My neighbour’s boyfriend is beating her. Don’t ask me if I’m sure. I’m sure. My husband and I do not know what to do, since she denies any attempt at probing. I know intervening will likely just lead to his taking things out on her afterward. But when he is not there, she won’t open up

But you know who WERE US soldiers?
