@Mr.X.: If you've ever spent a day looking for stock footage on Getty or similar sites, you see the humor in this. Those days of searching can be long, and full of crap.

@Ozzie, The Last Hairbender: Yeah, If that got apple to open up a bit on the iPad, it would be great. It seems to me from watching the video that a combination of those two devices would be a winner.

@EvanSei: My google calendar integrates very well with my iPhone calendar. Just set it up as an exchange account on iPhone or iPad

They really need some drop shadows on the text so I can read it.

Also sounds great to use on our 24 hr parking passes in Chicago. They require you to write the date and time in ink. Plus since they have recently raised the parking meter rates, and the people are rude when you try to buy the passes, I would feel no guilt for this*.

@EvanSei: Yes it needs something. Right now it's quite boring, despite being a fairly cool visual subject.

Cool idea. But the edit is very boring and I can't get over that.

What an idiot.

@You're Banned: Yes. So I think in theory a jailbreak would still be possible, but we would just need a different tool. Jailbreakme.com actually was quite a pain to get working for me. I really only jailbreak for an app called biteSMS which is identical to the apple sms app, but with a few great added features, it

@You're Banned: But the exploit they are stopping is the same used by the jailbreakme.com jailbreak...

@accordionhero: Actually, after just waiting a bit and retrying, the repos are working for me again. The new jailbreak still doesn't seem as stable as the 3.1.3 one I had going yesterday, but I've got SBsettings, activator and biteSMS working for me now, and those are all that I realllly need...

@accordionhero: I'm having a similar problem with my latest successful 4.0.1 jailbreak on my 3GS. I haven't really had the time this morning to look into it. I was doing well last night, but I kept having to restore and re-jailbreak because I was freezing on boot up. This last jailbreak though I haven't been able

@dfp3050: Agreed. That, and BITEsms are the reasons that I haven't upgraded to IOS4 yet. There are some other really great things I've done with jailbreaking, but those two are well worth being an OS behind.

@themightyspitz: The radio waves are still floating around your room, even if you don't use any equipment to capture them. So no help there unfortunately.

This reminds me of that south park where there was no more internet. So they had to unplug and restart the giant router in California.

@rsharp17: Plus its from the hawks parade! Nice!

@doctorrobert: Yeah both are very similar overall. The only reason I switch back and forth is because different companies use different products. For a majority of my career I've been at an edit house using Avid and greatly prefer Avid and its workflow over the fcp houses I've worked at. But in the end its all

@doctorrobert: I guess it just depends what you learned. Having learned and used both, Avid is my weapon of choice by far. I actually think Avid is much less confusing and better looking then fcp. Also easier and much faster to use as far as actual editing goes, not to mention the abilities to share projects and

@muddi900: But you have Avid. In my opinion 100x better then fcp. Ever tried it?
