I give you so much credit for being able to manage that.

*shoulder, not coulter

I adopted an adult kitty with aggression/behavioural issues and for MONTHS you could tell he desperately wanted to be held or patted but would freak out if you touched him, so he’d just follow me around and watch me and then sleep on my bed with me at night.

Vulture posts pretty decent episode recaps on Mondays, which is all I pay attention to.

Work has been a clusterfuck lately, but I use excel alllll day, so when there’s finally a slower day, I’ll play around and see if I can figure it out (& report back if I can get it to work)

This guy sounds like an asshole and I would like to say you dodged a bullet there. I once had a guy tell me he just “wasn’t excited to see me”. Like, there are ways to break up with people that aren’t really hurtful, so anyone who thinks they’re doing you a favour by ‘being honest’ is really just an asshole.

Do you happen to know of a good pattern making software or even how to do it in excel?

I was entertained by Hoffman’s wonky accent and the clunky dialogue and egregious historical errors/fictions. But I found it moved really slow and forgot I had watched it until this post.

As a non-Jew/Muslim in Canada, the chances of him being circumcised in the 1800s is INCREDIBLY unlikely.

There were a number of wuh? moments when I was living there, but that one stuck out to me. I will say their otc back pain medication is the business & I miss it.

I agree, prescribing unnecessary anything seems bonkers and unethical to me

I feel like it’s a totally normal laxative in Europe. When I was living in the uk, one of my ear piercings got badly infected and I wanted Epsom salts to soak the infection in because it’s cleared them up in the past.

my favourite excuse for a train delay still comes from when I was living in the UK and there were “leaves on the track” that were preventing us from leaving on time.

Yep. Every time the weather is bad, I think “hey, I should take the TTC”, and then when I turn on the radio there is ALWAYS. Some massive dispruption or delay and I wind up driving anyway.

The city is ludicrously expensive to go out in but it can be great for walking around in, which is free! Yay!

Boo, because maple is awesome and also because I’m wondering where the heck the maple cookies came from?!

Whether or not any of them sent naked photos to someone shouldn’t matter. Doing so is not an open invitation to have them shared &/or ridiculed

Ack! I’m jealous! I loved Vancouver. I live in Toronto, which is pretty great, but there’s no mountains to gaze at here.

Oh man, maybe I’m misremembering or getting them confused with maple cookies that were already in the house.

Yessss! I’m stoked about it. I love going on hikes/being in the woods away from people and the pass reminded me how beautiful Ontario (and the rest of the country) is and how I need to make more of an effort to actually -see- it
