I have the feeling that if he hadn’t killed the cop, pro life groups would fund his defense.

In my dream world, Carly Fiorina would be compelled to testify in his trial.

So glad I’m the only parent. I will never have to worry about these custody shit-shows (until my son runs away and begs to be made a ward of the state).

Rocco = REBEL HEART

Anna Kendrick gets it.

Every year you should send the doctors who sent you away a Christmas card with your diagnoses on one side, and a picture of you throwing them the bird on the other.

Definitely possible (as is that she didn’t have this ailment previously but had some other condition they were ignoring, or had nothing they could find).

Now now...Americans believe in mental health when there’s a mass shooting done by a previously law-abiding white Christian man.

I work in IT. If someone complains about his computer being slow several times and it seems OK when I check it, then one day I ignore him and the hard drive crashes, I’m most likely going to be in trouble. And that’s with a computer, not a human life.

Remember that time I kept getting told I had pneumonia and my back pain was “unrelated” and we don’t know what’s causing it, but take some Aleve we guess, and then I was diagnosed with STAGE IV CANCER? hahahahahahahafuckyoudoctors

“Take control of your healthcare choices; be your own best advocate!” “Cops, arrest this noisy black woman who is complaining of health problems.”

You know what, OK. Perhaps, being a gay person myself, I react particularly strongly to people saying they “don’t give much thought” to something as significant as believing I shouldn’t be allowed to do things, be places or have certain options. I would hope you can understand why that might be, and perhaps I should

I don’t care whether you need my approval, or expect you to want it. But when you voice your opinion about something, sometimes people will take that as an invite to discuss it with you, and some of those people will disagree.

People who automatically believe that any thinking that becomes more mainstream is “hive mind” and therefore insincere or incorrect amuse me. How on earth could more of the the “hive” believing that all humans in it are deserving of basic rights be a bad thing, or something to use to insult people? It’s like arguing

Yeah, we wouldn’t want to criticize anyone for their beliefs. That wouldn’t be very tolerant of me...

Never said the actions were the same. Simply that they both viewed homosexuality as “wrong” according to Abrahamic religious beliefs. Thanks Gawker.

It’s pretty clear that that person isn’t trying to make a perfect equivalency between these two things. People use hyperbole to make points and what not.

Weird reaction for me. Air Force veteran here, my job wasn’t security related, and I’ve read plenty of stories similar to this with little emotional response beyond “damn, that sucks.” This one, for whatever reason, got to me a lot more than most. I’m always dreading reading a name I recognize, but that day hasn’t
