Also, I don't subscribe to the notion that comic book adaptations need to be light by any stretch, but if you're making a movie about Batman and Superman teaming up (which they will do before the credits), and there isn't anything the least bit joyous about it, you've fucked up.

Is Batman wearing a trenchcoat as part of the dumbest disguise ever? Or did he just lose his matching fedora? #notallbatmen

I'm sorry, @avclub-859c9e789f331b02d5e87238023d84fb:disqus. But 'The Avengers' is my friend.

It's extremely unclear.

I guess I'm kind of counting Nick Fury in the Avengers since he seems to hang out with them a lot.

Bottom line - Thanos should really stop making deals with people to retrieve stones in exchange for invading planets for them. It's not like the stones are ever defended by more than a plucky band of five misfits.

Or an agent of Thanos might have just raided that SHIELD base, taken the Cube, and that would have been the end of it.

Loki invades Earth to spite Thor.

Lotta love for Ant-Man. Didn't see that coming.

I'm sure there will be a half-hearted comic book tie-in to answer that question for you.

Getting serious for a second, it's hard to believe they've made it this far without limitations. Almost every major threat the United States or the planet have faced has been created or motivated by them. And the methods they've used to deal with those threats…well, they don't exactly minimise collateral damage.

He also refused to share his mega-weapon-suit with the military (I guess he gave them a single suit, eventually), despite the fact that two different people were able to reverse-engineer it and rampage around major American cities.

Plus we're obviously going to have to find time to do Black Panther and Spider-Man setup for no good reason.

Well maybe he should care more about the United States instead of murdering friendly policemen.

I think Age of Ultron clearly established Hawkeye as the Ma-Ti of the crew.

I think it's more helpful to think in terms of tiers: Tier 1 is good/great; Tier 2 is good/average; Tier 3 is average/bad.

You'd think the fact that Captain America and Iron Man have already fought on screen twice would diminish my interest in this. You would be wrong.

I think the tow cable was for cargo somehow?

I don't see @avclub-d0cf409eb912cc0cc950b41b6d892d07:disqus with a degree in Fungineering.

As a person who likes Star Wars and is terrible at FPS games, I'm a pretty big fan of Battlefront. I was deciding whether to buy this or Fallout 4, but then I thought 'I work 12 hours a day as it is - do I really want to come home, boot up my PS4, and go to another fucking job? Or do I just want to kill some
