Sophomores are having a big impact too, what with 'Hannibal', 'The Americans' and 'Masters of Sex' likely up there.

Also, with 'Fargo' a lock for the top 10 (and having received similar accolades from many others), what did I miss about it? I thought it was well-made. I thought it was kinda fun seeing Coen Brothers tropes and moments remixed. I thought Martin Freeman was super creepy. But I didn't feel like it all added up to very

It feels weird seeing names like 'Louie', 'Game of Thrones' and 'Community so far down the list, given they've been such staples of top 10 lists for years now. Would have thought 'Orange is the New Black' might have cracked the big part of the list again, though. It'll be interesting to see where 'True Detective'

Maybe we've been looking at it all wrong, and 'The Flash' is actually an 'Early Edition' spinoff. Are we sure Wells doesn't just get the future newspaper from a cat?

Off-topic for the episode, but what hero is the CW-DCU missing to form its own second-tier Justice League? After last week's crossover, it's more clear than ever that the Flash and Green Arrow are TV-grade stand-ins for Superman (all-powerful superbeing, lighter, less angsty tone, over the top villains) and Batman

The fact that Sarah Koenig wrote articles for the Sun about Christina Gutierrez is mentioned in the very first minutes of the very first episode - it's the whole reason this story got told. The fact that people who are supposedly obsessed with the show can't remember this detail - and are surprised when they hear it

There's no real art to Hollywood titles any more. If you have a movie idea about step-brothers, bridesmaids, or even just people who live next door to one another, then you've got a title too!

Agreed. But I don't know if they are using a different timeline. Jason Clarke is 45 - assuming John Connor is close to the same age in 2029, that means he was born in 1984. Plus some of the cop cars look old.

Does anyone still remember The Sarah Connor Chronicles? It may not have been perfect, but it always seemed a lot more committed to dealing with the nitty gritty of time travelling robot killers than this movie almost certainly will be.

Why is the T-1000 always a cop? Also, is this set in the 1980s? Because Emilia Clarke isn't that old, but those cars on the Golden Gate bridge are all conspicuously new.

It's a bit disappointing that the AV Club didn't deign to list more than one female comedian. This isn't a top 10 list, there were no constraints on selection. What gives?

By the way, how weirdly badass is the Australian Secret Intelligence Service (ASIS) in the Arrow world? Between Captain Boomerang and Slade Wilson, ASIS is looking pretty good, and not at all like the dodgy bunch who almost shot up a hotel in a training exercise.

So does this mean that Arrow now has an Australian guy playing a Middle Easterner, and a Middle Eastern guy playing an Australian?

Present.

Hasn't the Batmobile pretty much always had guns on it (at least on film)?

I just feel that if we're gonna start making up whole new dinosaurs, what's the point any more?

Every episode of Gotham to date has been a missed opportunity to reveal Gentleman Ghost as the man pulling all the strings.

The show's lack of visual punch is probably the most disappointing thing about it, especially since so many of the other issues have cleared up.* I know some of it is the difference between movie and TV budgets, but it hurts when you'd see SHIELD bases last season and they were obviously repurposed convention centres

"Looks like double trouble," smirks Harvey Dent from the corner, his face half-shrouded in shadow.
