We got a 2019 CPO Odyssey 1.5 years ago. At 58k now it needs control arms, does weird A/C things, and power liftgate goes up then powers back down on your head. Thousands of dollars of work right after the warranty expired. Between these issues and the horrible, horrible dealer experience for both sales and service

Sort of food related….in high school, I went fishing on a Sunday but did not take the leftover frozen squid out of my trunk. Typical Florida spring, it was cool overnight and in the morning so no heat to thaw and “ripen” the squid in the trunk. But after a quick warmup in the 80’s and sitting in a school parking lot

2016 MINI Countryman S traded for a 2018 MINI Clubman JCW. Slightly faster, cool barn doors, new BMW platform and drivetrain, but service nightmares and higher price gave me instant regrets. Performance was not markedly better than my Countryman with a piggyback tune and intake. Within first couple months had cat

I can answer that question.....in August I found a CPO but never titled 2018 500X with 3K miles on it.  It was a special order that was never picked up, a FIAT exec drove it a few times when he visited Florida but that’s it.  Fancy yellow paint, pano roof, Beats Audio, but best of all the 1.4T and 6 speed manual.  It

In FL that’s about right for what looks like a decent TJ. I’ve had 4 going back to ‘99.  Much rather have the AMC 4 over the awful Neon engine.  I had one of each and 2 4.0’s. The 4.0 here in this shape would be 12-15k still which is nuts but that’s the market.

I went another route when faced with the same dilemma.  MINI Clubman JCW.  Plenty of power and tunable, awd, and manual. Had to order it though as there were only 2 in the whole country.

Kia must have sold a lot of these in Florida....I see a very disproportionate number of these on the road in Tampa. Like almost daily, and not the same one over and over. I always look at them with admiration that they built it in the first place.  Definitely wrong product at the wrong time, could have been a hit

My 2019 MINI JCW Clubman has something called comfort ventilation.....I set it for 15 minutes before I get off work and it pumps out the hot air. Great to have in Florida when the last thing you want to do at the end of the day is to get into an oven wearing a suit.

Similar story here but with a 1971 OSSA Pioneer 250.  Dad had it before I was born then it sat in a shed for about 20 years. Little by little fixed it up, took very little to get it running but paint and fiberglass was shot. Got lucky with a few NOS parts from the dealer who originally sold it to him new, amazingly

That’s was my MINI upgrade a month ago, same color scheme even.  Kids are 5 and 1, plenty of room.

What I did....2019 Clubman JCW babies just fine with 2 kids and 20k left over towards college fund.

How long ago was that? I ordered a 2019 JCW Clubman (manual of course), only 1k deposit in May, it should be here tonight or tomorrow morning.  No way would I have put down more than that, god forbid something happened and I was unable to take delivery and be out 5k!

About to pull the trigger on upgrading my MINI Countryman S to a new JCW, almost 5k off sticker which is rare on these things. This is making me think twice....that interior though would be rough to live with.

I was so proud when I started getting the “daddy, go fast!” From my three year old in my mustang. Alas, I came to be realization that a mustang will baby, but not easily. And the fact that he recently started being able to kick me from the back seat sealed the deal....traded it in last week for a GMC Sierra.

Had an ‘89 Hardbody 4x5 v6 5sp as my first truck, put 100k on it on 7 years, replaced the battery once, brakes once, and paint. That’s it. I’m sure it’s still running today.

I’ve been battling this recently. I don’t drive like an asshole but the fact that I have a new yellow Mustang leads people to believe that I do. Case in point, an older man who lives on a through street that I take to get home has give me the “slow down” hand gesture three times over the past couple weeks. Speed limit

Saw him open for Bob Dylan about 10 years ago, blew Bob away.
