Yeah, except all the talent is out here because they escaped from the midwest. Nobody wants to go back, we have an ocean, mountains, skiing, nice weather and culture here.

Only if there are jobs nearby.
Baghdad by the Bay = Yes
Fuck no. Even an hour away, you’ll still be spending $2,000 MINIMUM on a studio (or get 4 roommates to share it).
There would be more work in Silicon Valley than there would be in SF. It’s more affordable AND you can actually park your car. Sounds like this dude has made some weird choices.
Yeah, except we have ALL the work out here. How is New Orleans doing? When I was there 5 years after Katrina it was still a wreck.
Where the hell is that? Studios in San Jose are $2,000 MINIMUM.
When did you buy your house? 1972?
Where is your house located, in Iowa?
I think if you’re too dumb to live in the East Bay and commute to SF, you’re too dumb to have a girlfriend.
I tried Oculus, Samsung and Sony VRs with (& without) glasses this year.
Just because they “fit” doesn’t mean they “work”. VR googles squash against my glasses/face, everything is out of focus, and it gives me a headache after about 10 minutes.
I have glasses . . . . so “VR sucks, VR will fail”.
“No, but I’m willing to make an exception . . . .”
Not bringing a tarp and bleach.
Ooooo . . . stabby !
I love how VR has already alienated their early adopter base, people who wear glasses.
So, are you telling me you’re running an upgraded PC in 10 year old case?
But Supreme Court Justices are not.
Sadly they would reply “because I am term-limited”.
