Apple has said years ago that they tried it and doesn’t work well on upright screens. That’s what iPad Pro are for.

No. Why would you need such a thing on a laptop? I think the somewhat tepid sales of Microsoft’s surface shows it’s not as big a feature as their marketing might lead you to believe.
