I love how VR has completely alienated almost all of it’s early adopter base, nerds who wear glasses. I guess they’ll be giving away extra-small sized t-shirt schwag next.

I doubt you’re their target audience.

Thank god.

Let’s see how your arm feels after 30 minutes of that.

Fuck Cable, Internet, and any other paid subscriptions. I pulled Comcast & DSL 5 years ago and haven’t looked back. I have an antennae for OTA network shows and I use my iPhone for internet. I plug my iPhone into my TV for my pirated Netflix account, and watch shows I missed on free apps.

I hate Comcast’s UI so much, I stopped watching TV. Windows Media Center isn’t even an option.

Dammit! (do these come in adult sizes?)

in all fairness, the 2 weeks before summer, and the 2 weeks before winter are really nice!

At least I have some personal space and can see beautiful green nature. I get to listen to my own music, don’t have to worry about bumping into people, and worrying if the crazy looking smelly guy next to me is going to mix it up with me.

I would have trouble hanging out with folks who have problems with: vaccinations, evolution, women’s rights, etc.; but are super OK with carrying guns around.

I was born in Lawrence & raised in KC. Beautiful country (crazy flat). They still fighting that evolution thing?

I’ll pass on the whole “rats in a cage” commute. Driving alone in a car blasting your favorite music while watching nature roll by is pretty great.

I remember the endless gray winters of Chicago that never seemed like they would never ever end. I’m sure it gave me Seasonal Affective Disorder. I am SO much happier in the sunshine, I had forgotten what hope and joy felt like.

So you don’t miss science?

Is it any cheaper in Santa Cruz ? (Because I’d take that gorgeous commute anytime!)

Beats my 296 sq ft studio! ($1,600/month because of rent control, they’re asking $2K+ for new ones now).

Yeah, except he’s stuck in NC.

Yeah, but at least we have trees and can park.

Where in Idaho is that?

Yeah, but you’re in Texas, so . . . .
