...it’s almost as if we live in a nation with precious little respect or protection for regular working people!

I maybe get the not being able to sue a co-worker, but seems like not being able to sue your employer for damages is suspect, and leaves employees unprotected

Now playing

Top Gear Overdrive! What a beautiful, broken, post-grunge masterpiece.

The basic idea reminds me of the 1998 Jeepster concept. I know a lot of people didn’t care for it, but I kind of liked it for some reason. Probably because of Top Gear Overdrive for N64.

Your KBB is trade in value....

That’d be great if Ford made a Ranger EV, again.

even a ranger... if i can get a truck that gets north of 3 miles/kwh likely in.

If it’s an electric Maverick, Dearborn can have my money right now.

Hopefully Ford doesn’t go woke...its not working for Disney.

$76k for a car you can’t get tail lights for.

I had a 75 VW bus, they called it the transporter. It had a slanted "H" pattern printed on the dash but that must have been put there as a suggestion of where you might find the gear you want. Neither one of couldn’t drive stick, so I volunteered to drive the beast. The thing’s shift lever was located in the dash. It’s was called

Gama Goat, 4 Speed with a Detroit Diesel. Up shifts were fine. Never did get the hang of the Double Clutch Downshift

Any Mercedes of the late 80's through today. There’s a reason that they went so big into automatics. You want that mechanical connection, the driving engagement, but at best you pair it to something buzzy like one of the cosworths and you get a high strung, torqueless motor with a box that is anything but precise.

We’ve got a similar utility style Polaris Ranger 6x6 that we use to haul camping/hunting gear in (and sometimes moose or caribou out); they’re definitely workhorses. The dump bed is great for moving dirt/gravel/firewood and they’ll climb stupid, stupid steep grades. The extra track length is also nice to prevent high
