The RTS is indeed stainless steel! There are some steel parts that can rot out (the engine cradle, for example) but mine does not have that problem.

I’ve noted a few times that the bus was sold. In every instance the person came by, got shocked at the rust, then turned away. Oof. lol
A lot of districts buy buses that require as little training as possible. Many jurisdictions require air brake endorsements, which buying a bus with hydraulic brakes gets around.
I’m so glad you were able to escape the bus’ curse so lightly. It’s funny how a relatively small profit or loss can make the difference between a fondly-remembered mishap and simmering regret.
Still seems like you have the wrong platform for an RV. Both school and transit buses are designed for going slowly from stop-to-stop. Neither is really meant to be hurtling down the highway for hours on end. You really need to find a proper highway coach. But the RTS is certainly a better start than a rusty school…
Oh I loved “Dead Like Me”
You could get hit by a toilet seat from outer space too.

If we’re being pedantic, ALL crashes occur during some sort of landing.
Landings are by far the most dangerous moments in a flight. The final decent and landing phases make up only four percent of flight time, but account for an incredibly 49 percent of fatal accidents

Oh I’m sure the comments on this will be just... ugh. but I’m gonna try anyway.
There’s a stoplight near my house that’s got some kind of trigger that my bike cannot make switch. Because it’s a side road to main road, the light just won’t change unless triggered. So as a cyclist, I have the option of waiting until a…

It means Ford wasn’t able to produce enough.
The Ridgeline has always been relatively expensive and niche. It starts over $37k. Beating it should be pretty easy.

Look, when it comes to Fins wanting to mess with Russians the Russians should be happy all they’re losing is boats.
It depends on the car but a 2000 Civic Si would work just fine using this method. I see a few other comments stating the exact opposite of this, but I’ve been driving 90's Japanese 4-bangers for a decade and they are all capable of taking off from a standstill in this manner. I’ve taught plenty of people using this…
This was a neat read. I really like these DIY projects that kind of “bring the most” out of the car you have. Your sound deadening and insulation mods are something I feel like a lot of people would overlook without realizing how much they can do for their car’s refinement.
