That front end has a bunch of styling cues from Lincolns that predate and postdate it.

That’s where the old hacker magazine 2600 got it’s name.

This is good Jalopnik.  Carry on.

Roundabouts and rotaries are different things.

You want to run by me how there is no Subaru without the Prius?

Heated wipers would actually be awesome. Its the icing of the blade while you are moving that is a real PITA. That would prevent the wipers from icing up and not wiping the windshield. It would prevent my annoyed ass from pulling over and slapping the wipers against the windshield to clear the ice every few miles.

Wagoneerly killed me just looking at it.

The apocalypse vehicle of choice for the discerning survivor is and has always been the boat. Preferably a mid sized fishing trawler. Set up for running long trips and catching edible fish with material handling capability and plenty of storage space.

A friend has one, she is a die-hard Jeep person and she has had no end of trouble with it.  So par for the course I guess?  Keep a stash of spare cash on hand for frequent repairs.

It seems like the higher MPG vehicles have a narrower margin for exceeding the sticker MPG.

The only problem I have with Fuelly is it generally cherrypicks people that tend to hypermile or at least be mileage conscious.  That being said it’s obviously possible.

I wonder if that number is one of those “realistic” numbers that most people will meet or exceed, or one of those “you better be driving downhill with a stiff tailwind” numbers.

I hadn’t noticed before, but for the m/y 2019 Hyundai made a pretty decent Fusion.

Bring tire chains or you might get stuck on one side of the pass or the other.

F**K YEAH

Google tells you those numbers but doesn’t cite them, which is funny because a host of other sites list the crew cab as being optionally configured “up to 12,000". I have a funny feeling those numbers are without the tow package or are for some specific setup because even road tests of the diesel F150 crew cab 4WD list

That’s still pretty efficient for a boat too!

But if you attempt to fly in a truck it will end badly every time.

LOL WHAT

Compared to boats 6 gallons per hour is pretty tame. Plus you can cover a decent amount of miles during that hour.
