Detuned.
DPF filters, oil changes, parts costs, fuel costs. The amount of time it takes to see savings by going with diesel these days is usually longer than most companies (that’s the target market for these) plan on keeping the rig. Many of the bucket trucks are switching over to gas engines, and show me a box truck that’s…
This is going to be for fleet customers that don’t want to add 10-12% of the total value of the truck on the top for the diesel that will also cost more to maintain. This is a perfect replacement for that offering low running costs, low cost of entry, and high durability with cheap maintenance.
The bulk of people's problems are bad tires not cruise control.
This falls under the “common sense” defense that you being aware of these facts and being generally competent can either correct for this without crashing or won’t engage cruise in situatulions where you might encounter this.
Precisely how useless is that passthrough into the cabin? Looks like you might grab something in the back from the cabin if not buckled in... don’t imagine you will fit anything else through there.
I'm more concerned with cargo square footage than cubic footage. A tall roof can allow more cubic feet in less square footage and since I generally don't stack my groceries I'd rather know what the footprint is than the cubic capacity.
Rowan Atkinson is my personal hero.
That is a fun and adorable little car that I would love to have...
I’ll tell you where it isn’t.
Girls with short skirts and long jackets.
The difference that you seem willfully unable to comprehend is that they have been, as the name states, USED. They have been out in the world, under the sun and driving around. The clock on their lifespan has already started ticking. The best you can do is look up how to read date codes and find some that are…
The sidewall holds the pressure in. The pressure holds the car up.
You mean UV damage? Because if you have a tire that cracked from sun exposure it is 100% unsafe to put a load on it and shove it down the interstate.
The vast majority of used tires weren’t put on a car for three weeks then stored in a cool dry place out of the sun and sold for 1/3 price. UV damage is an absolute killer for tire rubber and having deep enough tread is just as important.
Feel free to ride around on Maypops so long as you’re not doing it near me.
The pictured tires are giving me severe anxiety.
Don't forget, more sidewall = better ride and cheaper tires (to a point). There is literally no downside (unless you are trying to fit over massive brakes but honestly how big do you need in most cars?)
That is a properly sharp ride. There is one around here and I will pick it out of a crowd every time. Good looking from every angle is a hard trick to pull off and it does well.
According to the numbers this is an unpopular opinion...
