I started firmly in the NP territory. The more I read and the more pictures I saw slowly drove that down to a reluctant CP.

Why do they show it strapped up to a travel lift like it’s going to tow it? I’m trying to think of worse ideas but coming up short.

This is for people that like the Honda Ridgeline but want to tow a boat. 

I personally love these and think this was a nice mid-size truck with a very solid drivetrain under it. I’d also happily own one in a hot minute.

I think the smaller engine would favor city driving a lot more than highway.  I think the 45-60mph range would favor the smaller engine too.   Course you only get savings if you keep out of the boost. The V8 can eat up a bunch of fuel if you drive it like a tool too.

That HFE test is essentially geared to give the NA displacement engine a huge advantage. That is the situation best suited for displacement.
