This is especially important if you have a heated garage as it’s heat that speeds the oxidation process up to a fever pace.

While that is fair, I’d still classify it as underfunded infrastructure. It’s the same as the local mandatory power supply monopoly here. Bought out by an internationally owned multi-state conglomerate and suddenly they can’t seem to figure out how to do the one job they’ve had for decades, but they do know they want…

It may handle the instant pressure better though as it is elastomeric and can move a bit before giving up.

Anywhere that sells boat stuff as its under waterline caulking material. Expect to pay +/- $20 per tube and it is an absolute pain to apply when its not very warm. Also wear many gloves.
