Well the Titan is a V8 diesel, this is a V6 and far less displacement so yeah it’ll be less. This is a return to the numbers everyone loved with the 300 I6 with high torque and low(ish) horsepower (compared to today’s engines).

Diesel is literally designed to tow and haul, all the torque happens at the bottom. Still more efficient that doing it with a bigger gas engine.
Well sign me up.
Man I’m glad I live in a mediocre North East city in a generally considered poor neighborhood.
This is the correct answer to those who thought a HOA was a good idea when they bought or rented.
Basically the rest of us hate you to some extent.
Those are great tires, if you think you’ll be in ice conditions frequently get the studs otherwise they’re fine on their own. Studs are only good on glare ice, but they’re unbeatable on ice.
Those are excellent tires though I don’t believe they are 10 ply which pushed me into the Generals. I used them for years on an Explorer with amazing results.
If those aren’t 10 ply GTFO. I currently have 10 of those between two trucks and I only have to use 4WD occasionally.
Yep, put all the studs in and threw them on the wife’s V50 and now she doesn’t call me screaming about not getting up the driveway. Bonus points for mounting them on steelies so I can swap them when she gets home from work on both ends of the season.
I like you Kristen I really do.
Also don’t be one of those fools who buys in to the ever popular facebook posts about “deicing” spray of warm water, dishsoap, and a splash of rubbing alcohol. That will turn to ice in record time and be very hard to remove.
Rowing your own gears in that is about as enjoyable as doing it in my old plow truck. Except one is a plow with a single purpose and a $1500 price tag and the other isn’t.
Now make all those 10 ply tires, and have the other truck need 6 of them and the wifes car need summer and winter tires and rims becaue she can’t be bothered with things, but hey at least she doesn’t need 10 ply AMIRIGHT?
Traction, physics, driver. Pick two. Not going to happen.
You can’t ignore AC Delco electronics or the sheer air resistance of that whale. If that didn’t convince you the joke was missed than I don’t know what will.
It’s all surface ice, theres still water under there. Well maybe the serious sub zero temps tomorrow will change that. Just remember, thats salt water. No car coming out of that will ever be the same again.
There isn’t a snowballs chance in hell of that car doing 0-60 in 4.74 seconds.
Take the “1" off the front of that price and it becomes meerly “overpriced”. Why you would want to row your own gears in a luxury yacht is beyond me. The point of that car is to relax and enjoy.
Get no argument from me on that, though they don’t leave any space inside the rims and 18" is already BS expensive to buy tires for.
