The problem I’ve found with buying used (at least around here and as reported by people self-described as “human”) is the prices are pretty much the exact same as new only, with worse financing options and random stains that don’t have a funny story you can tell friends.

Thanks for giving me yet another Youtube channel I have to follow.

Takata called... those airbags need to be replaced.

How committed are we to the name?

This. 3000% this. If you do it once because you HAD to get home, fine. Every. Single. Time. Beyond that you are 100% guilty of being part of that group we label “THE WORST” and you deserve it.

I really got the Wrangler fever this year and I’m happy to say this cooled it off somewhat.

Get that price down to the $20K range and we’re talking about some interest. $40K for a “fixed” VW/Audi sitting on a lot rotting for twoish years? Nope. Maybe if they included a “Free GTI with purchase!!”

I like this game! 24 cylinders 870 hp. The torque numbers are better as one of those is a big diesel with pretty low hp.

OK last edit before I give up. Trying to post the Solara pic.

Posted wrong image first. Accord would have to be older.

It makes sense as their manufacturing process is going to be less precise.

IMHO Camery Solara has it with the window shape and pillar shape. I thought Accord but the pillar shapes aren’t quite there. The rims look totally Merc though.

Image 4 in the concept sketches looks an awful lot like a prototype Dodge Durango.

Oh I loved the Coopers they are still great tires. It came down to getting a good deal on the Generals. A friend runs the local tire dealer and could get me insanely good deals on the Generals so I tried a set on the F-450 and loved them. I put a set on my F150 after my Coopers gave up the fight. Also the Coopers I

Don’t get me wrong I’d love for them to cover that cost too, but I’m not sure legally they can pay for registration unless you are literally renting the car. I suppose if you set it up as a long-term rental that could work (instead of a lease) but it’d be harder for them to do as each state would have different rules

Those tires have like... no tread at all.

How did you like the Chinese tires? I’ve avoided them ever since a cheap set of tires (possibly Chinese, though I think it was before they were imported around here) left me wanting in a bad way. I was suckered in by the total cheapness (under $300 installed) and vowed never again. Current mix on the fleet has

If I understand correctly the only additional cost (besides fuel) is the registration and local taxes. Is this correct? If so this sounds like one helluva deal.

That thing has an approach angle of “nope” made even worse by the hanging *shudder* chrome plate holder.

What are you even going to do with a tree that size?
