Yeah, I can go either way on kids...I don’t want a playground at a bar but if they’re well behaved and you’re just going there for dinner, it’s fine. But man the dog thing pisses me off. There is absolutely no reason to have a non-service animal at a bar.

And he’s also wearing a “Four Seasons Curling Club” hoodie. The next Vernon Davis?

Indy just works best geographically and they have an arena downtown with lots of hotels nearby.

This is the sound of denial from a dad-rap listener.

Let’s be honest, Team Gushue is probably better than Team Koe. And put those two together in a back end with a strong sweeping front end and they’ll be tough to beat. However, like you said the ratings would take a huge hit if RotR wasn’t to represent Team Canada. You also run into the issue of practice time when

I HATE when I go to a hotel and it’s just a duvet. I run hot. I’m not about to sleep under a gigantic comforter, it’s insanity.

I mean, he did used to go by “Mike”

Yeah, I don’t understand all the hype. Yes he’s young and throws hard but the numbers....are not great.

While I disagree in that I think we still should send our pros (either beat us or line up behind us), we would still dominate if it was college players, right? Assuming other countries have to use amateurs as well.

Boooo! Team Homan is the future (yes I know they’re sucking in the Olympics...but still)

Judging from other sports, probably plain white & black.

Bingo. Even when he was “good” at shooting his jumper was flat and his best looks were off the dribble pullups from the key. Not exactly a good or highly efficient shot but he was so fast he could get past his man and so athletic he could jump high enough to hit it enough to make it work. Obviously he could also go to

Yep! The Bulls traded Luol Deng to Cleveland for that pick. Year after year I kept waiting on that 1st rounder... Never happened!

Kwame Brown, Dwight Howard, and Andrew Bogut see nothing wrong with this.

That’s exactly it. It looks easy. Physically throwing the rocks isn’t hard per se, but the accuracy and consistency of the Olympians is just ridiculous.

As a recent entrant to the sport, I can tell you that if you’re decently coordinated and you get the right gear and enough instruction and ice time you can actually do it. You just won’t be a champion.

Not enough stars.

I’m guessing NBC doesn’t have access to a “Rule Expert” a-la Dean Blandino or Mike Pereira, but they sure could have used their services to explain the calls last night.

This did not happen to me specifically, but a childhood friend of mine was raised in a devoutly religious Christian household and his parents would not let him watch Nickelodeon because it was owned by Viacom, who also produced MTV. Even as an 8 year old I thought this was beyond ridiculous.
