Hard pass for me.

Consumers bill of rights until we start regulating programs like this, Amazon's ability to unilaterally claim your return was not what it was supposed to be, companies abilities to deny warranties, the companies will just keep taking us over the coals knowing individually none of us will sue them for a worthwhile

This article perfectly summarizes my gripes with points programs. They’re like an intermediate currency with a value that is almost impossible to judge on a day by day basis. When the company that issues points also determines their value AND says they can only be used on their products and services, forgive me for

I had one of these over the weekend as a rental. Of course the battery wasn’t charged, so it wasn’t really in electric mode much. But the engine in these sounds like a tractor.

Oh, you know Storrow Drive in Boston... the daily dumbass who doesn’t understand how tall their truck is?

Opposite take. Vehicles over 6k should need a special license.

Weight creep is so bad a 2 door coupe can be over 4k. It needs to stop.

It would be good to know how wide of an issue this is before legislature gets involved. Would hate to amend an entire state’s judicial system because some kid keeps being an asshole, thus allowing cops to cuff & jail any 11-year-old because they were being annoying.

I doubt that he “failed to spot” but more likely ignored. Like all these idiots that see a height restriction yet continue forward taking out their bridges and trailers.

I want to believe that the Space Force is a real military branch and not just a scheme by Air Force Space Command to get more funding and promotions with ugly uniforms and forced traditions.

maybe someone could find some other kids to break this kid’s legs

Doesn’t sound like home detention will be a big deterrent. His parents don’t seem to be taking much of an interest if the kid is out at 3am.

Ankle bracelet monitoring. Mandatory curfew. Home detention. ???

Don’t want kids treated like adults but when showing signs a potentially dangerous pathology like this there needs to be an obligation to intervene. Right now non-violent (in terms of people) offenses but it’s not a far stretch to see things escalate to endangering people (a 12 year old driving is dangerous but not

Where the hell are his parents, and why isn’t he in school/at home under lockdown?

What are the parents doing? Then again, if the parents are arrested, this kid will go in to the foster system and continue to commit crimes. If he stays with his parents, he’ll continue to commit crimes without the baggage of being a foster child. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t. Next time, amend state laws so

but their efforts are severely hampered by the fact he’s too young to be arrested or jailed for most nonviolent offenses under the state’s juvenile justice laws.”

Are you offended because you think that one day you can buy one of these... ??

Certainly looks like transportation to me.

Most people on the planet do not own their own vehicle.  The class warfare ship sailed long ago.

Is this, or is this not, transportation?
