It’s partly because it’s still considered acceptable for women to enter male spaces, but not the other way around. So, you can make a male-centric show, and it’s cool if a girl watches it, but you can’t make a female-centric show and have it acceptable for a boy to watch it.

We’re starting to drift away from those gendered concepts, but only in one direction. The things that are being marketed to all demographics are overwhelmingly male-centric. One other thing is the pretty tight control in the kitchen which means the nozzles and machine get cleaned regularly.
