Maybe the solution is to have bigger vehicles that can carry more people in one go through the tunnel. If it’s really high volume, maybe link the larger vehicles together in a chain so that they all travel at once all at the same speed.

I assume you’re using “halfway decent” in the “stone cinematic masterpiece” sense of the word.
These people care nothing about democracy, and are essentially Fascists - and I say that not in the sense of throwing scare words around, but in their academic meanings as a student of politics.
What the Hell is wrong with these people? Do they think this is “politics as usual,” to break into the Capitol Building and threaten to lynch the people who are recording the outcome of an election? Do they think it’s “politics as usual” to, when you lose a presidential election by 72 electoral votes and a popular…
You mean to tell me that the TERF Wizard Lady who included a subplot in her books arguing that slavery is ok if the slaves are happy being slaves and whose only Asian and Irish characters are named “Cho Chang” and “Seamus Finnegan” respectively also had antisemitic stereotypes?/s
As a developer that just dealt with a year rollover issue, time is hard to get right. Stuff like this is why you really want ota updates in your car. The “I don’t want my car to be a computer” fantasy is long gone and the best you can do is make the fixes easier.
There are times when it works well. I made a chicken and orzo dish last week where you cook the orzo in stock with a risotto-like method and that deglazes the pan after sautéing the chicken. Usually though, I agree with you. Just boil the pasta a minute short of al dente, then toss it over medium heat with the sauce…
I’m from Indiana, a lot of my family and friends are still there, and while there’s certainly a lot of Midwestern Polite, there’s also a lot of “you can’t tell me what to do” - their vaccination rate is low and their covid rates are high.
Sadly, the Midwest is not far behind Florida in its general disregard for human life.
It’s actually a pretty good tip and one that I use often since my deafness and others wearing masks makes it incredibly difficult for me to communicate or understand others.
And it doesn’t solve the “Roxbury” problem - where if you’re not a regular, the bartender ignores you. I’ve literally stood right at the bar, looking directly at the bartender, and they don’t give me the time of day.
I laughed bitterly at this to keep from crying. It’s a good tip that I would totally use if people in my state were still wearing masks or if I felt like I could go to a bar. Sometimes I forget that other states still have mandates like this or are still doing the bare minimum to protect others. People in my state…
Politer for sure, but safer? This is pure theater if you’re going to be drinking that drink indoors anyway. If you’re unsure about the virus level of your aerosols or don’t want to risk being exposed to those of others, stay home.
That’s a New England style roll but there’s no such hot dog as a “New Englander” except at Super Duper Weenie where they also sell other dogs with (gimmicky) regional names. That’s the standard roll we use in Connecticut. It’s better, IMO, as long as you grill it like you’re supposed to. If you don’t it tastes like…
As the linked article explains, there is no such thing as a Massachusetts hot dog. There is a New England-style bun. You can grill it or steam it and you can put whatever you want on it. I lived in Massachusetts for 47 years and cooked in restaurants for three summers when I was in school (including Friendly’s, where…
There’s no need to bread chicken
When I was a kid I like the breast because it had the most crust
We need to get you on the Omelette Challenge.
For really good scrambled eggs, scramble them either before or after you toss them in the pan. Sprinkle salt and pepper whenever. Cook on medium or whatever so they get done in a few minutes. I dunno, add cheese in there somewhere if you want? Add milk/water if you want make an extra effort.
