Saying Japanese developers suck is indeed racist. He is isolating a specific ethnicity as a whole and insinuating that western developers as a whole are superior; that is a textbook case of racism. It's not as if you have to be talking about South African apartheid, or Jim Crow Laws for it to be racism, just simply

Anytime you mark a specific ethnicity as being inferior to another in any aspect or field, is racism; the very definition of racism. It may not be as strong as the typical examples of racism you're acclimated to hearing about, but it is nonetheless racism.

Well, you see, when you deal with a lot of people treating you like shit all the time, then you may need to be a bit more introspective about yourself; in other words, the problem may probably lie with you instead of everyone else...

Because a military commander like Zod would give Superman the option of removing the fight from the city. He has hostages all around him, and it would be much easier to get Superman to surrender anyhow...

Maybe, maybe not. Consider the fact that they were looking for an acceptable planet to terraform in the first place, the US Government was digging up a Kryptonian exploratory vessel from 20k years ago that would probably light up like a beacon the moment it was tampered with, thus drawing Zod, who had a world

I agree with you, but for another reason entirely. Even before the current articles about the overindulgence of Steam sales, I felt that they were a form of consumer trap in themselves. They are now currently designed to take advantage of people's impulses to the point they'll buy anything that catches their fancy,

Well, while slavery was still an issue in the North during that era, it wasn't nearly that prevalent in anywhere but the southern British American colonies like Virginia. There were a lot more black freeman than slaves in the area ACIII takes place in, since there wasn't a big slave economy there. By that time Britain

The problem with your comparison is that currency is accepted for its inherent value in a vast economy, while Steam cards are only worth their scarcity in a very closed economy. On top of that, Steam cards in themselves aren't worth the cost of a game, so you have to presume you only value them as a bonus to the game

Gambling makes gambling addicts happy...

Or it could be that they only seek games that they have a direct interest in, rather than impulsively buying games that they have a passing interest or impulsive interest in. These sales are designed to take advantage of your impulses, after all.

Disconcerting when a person with a defined sense of needs vs wants and impulse control is considered an outlier :p

And to this, I say, you cannot argue against this utter truth ;)

Ashura would break the game.

Heh, heh heh, you would 'main' Eagle...

I kinda figured from the 'pressable' part of her statement; I'm more inclined towards unless it's pressure sensitive, it's a redundant addition e_e

I'm sitting here thinking "It's a freaking TOUCH PAD! Of COURSE it can work as a button!"

you should go play some Bubsy the Bobcat 3D, then. "Hate" would then seem a bit too strong a word :p

This is one of the reasons I never get rid of my old systems or bad games. New fighting game coming up? How about a healthy round of Battle Arena Toshinden URA? Beat Em up? Bayou Billy. 3rd person? Bubsy Bobcat 3D. And when I need to relearn my appreciation for current graphics, I'll go with a session of Burning

I know, rite? I have a standing rule that unless I can't absolutely stand the game, or the game is impossibly hard, I'm not buying a new game until I've beaten what's in my backlog. I have a hard time fathoming buying a game for the sake of it being on sale, and then not even considering playing immidiately. Maybe

Nonetheless, buying a game on steep discount and still not playing it (and most likely not getting around to playing it, if even a cursory demoing) is still money wasted. I mean, we're seeing people with almost 50% of their libraries unplayed! Even if you're buying humble bundles, you would think that people would at
