I’m not sure how many characters had a perfect win animations in prior games, but I know in Alpha 2 and 3, Rose had one where she would transform into a fancy dress behind a giant tarot card labeled The Fool. You could only see it with a perfect or with a special button combo when you win a round.
I always felt this way about Halo.
Alright Joss Whedon.
If I recall, at agdq last year during one run they mentioned that the game they were playing, they add the normal load times back into the time for the purposes of being able to use the newer release of the game

But... but the other developers on the team! Think of the other developers!
Zombie Master! That mod was hella fun. I remember having one stage that was basically the underground facility from the first Resident Evil movie.
It was actually a half life 2 mod years ago, and I’m super cool with Capcom borrowing from that.
It sounds like Capcom discovered the Zombie Master Half Life 2 mod and I am 100% a-ok with that. The best way to describe Zombie Master was, it’s Left 4 Dead, but what if the player was The Director instead of an AI and had to spend resource spawning zombie and setting up traps.
HinTis. That’s the portmanteau for Hint Tiles in the Link to the Past Randomizer, right?
Is that Stauf from the 7th guest on the left?
It’s this generations Televangelists!
Dot-Matrix would be the original style. Black and white is gameboy pocket style
Super Turbo Dhalsim players are all rolling their eyes right now.
Can’t unsee that first image looking like Same Weir
My favorite negative in your downside part of the argument is lack of creativity, as if most games from publishers that really need a union to protect their workers aren’t just trying to cash in on the latest fad or craze.
Is the switch version complete? I saw the game is on steam, still in early access from 2016 and no updates since 2017 :( It looks awesome, but I’m concerned about support.
