@Cromwell: I think it's 50/50 yeah you can throw out Kin as a huge mess, but I think Win7 was successful, Wp7 the jury is still out, Xbox did pretty well, MS Exchange is very widely accepted, and I think Kinect seems to be very successful. Personally I'd rather wait and see before judging

@Cromwell: but that is targeting a specific audience... gamers. If I'm 60 and don't play games I'm not buying a gaming device just to browse the internet on my TV when I can get something specifically designed (and most likely cheaper) for this.
