I don't mind Dutch anymore, which is weird.

Carl is good in season 4 or 5 onward, but holy Christ was he a bore in seasons 1 & 2.
The original Zach was SUUUUCH a child actor. That moppet haircut, those big soft eyes, that gingerly delivery on everything.
I'd even settle for a "Where's Zach?" "Who cares?"
Well, I'd rather have him reconstituting bad shit into good shit than the other way around. It seems though he took trash and reconstituted it into a different type of trash.
Chekhov's Clitoris.
I just remember Kojima saying that the dog can actually die, so I didn't take the risk. Maybe now I'll let him try out the field a little bit, because having a canine companion sounds awesome.
I know, I know. But in real life I wouldn't risk a dogs life anyway - dogs can't volunteer for this. They have an innocent lack of perspective.
I like the troublemaker system even if I don't get it. At first they just filled my suicide squads for combat deployment
So he can't die? Does he extract himself or do you have to dismiss him?
When I'm going from A-to-B, or doing an easier side-op, I always have one of the tapes going, especially now that I'm gathering more music.
"But Hideo, are you sure we need to delay the release by a month to insert bonus weapons 90% of the games users won't find, along with minigames people will only play once? Is anyone in play-testing even using this little robot?"
Yep. What Triss really needed was "more leg."
Adults that can presumably find an unlimited supply of pornography, if need be. We don't need to oogle Lara Croft's polygonal bust anymore. There's even feminist porn out there now! (I don't know what that means, but I've been assured it exists.)
"La Li Lu Le Lo, Les Enfants Terribles, Shagohod. That's why this woman isn't allowed to wear pants."
"Oh! Objectify away, dear."
Is that something Diamond Dogs wouldn't do if one of these America First groups had the money to do pay them?
Well, that's a brilliant fucking thing I had no idea about.
Yeah, but you could be riding a bear into battle.
Yeah, and buying stuff Day 1 is a stupid idea 90% of the time. Even in this one, unfortunately (the Quiet bug and a few other game-breaking ones are just now getting addressed).
They hybrid stealth/combat stuff is terrific. You don't have to just pick one - if you're clever enough, you can blend them and use "loud" options to facilitate avoiding combat. I like blowing up comms relays and such to cut off radio access, then draw them to investigate that while I go do my mission inside the camp.
