Well, they put Wolfenstein 3D in as a bonus for beating the game in Return to Castle Wolfenstein, which is to-date the best post-game bonus I've ever seen. Then, they threw in a nod to that in New Order.

Not just surprisingly good - it still might be the best shooter on the console to date in terms of mechanics and thrill.
Return to Castle Wolfenstein is one of those games I got for PC and played OBSESSIVELY for years, then rebought it on Xbox so I could do splitscreen with friends, and play the new content.
The 2009 reboot was a good game that showed its wear and tear in the last couple hours and ended on a sour note with a braindead final boss battle.
I remember being thrilled chatting with 80 year old Asian people in that game, and getting bored driving a forklift. It taught me the word quota though, which is cool.
At least more interesting becuase there are stakes in real life. Like not losing your job or causing millions in damage to industrial equipment. The thrill!
Yes, I did too! It captures the strangeness of the Mad Max world pretty well, and even has bald, white-painted mutant raiders coming after you. The road battles are clearly inspired by Mad Max, so it's only fair.
The big, open maps of Halo, with hidden turns and twists and weapons, really charmed me on a recent playthrough. That level on the island with multiple objectives to take on, and the freedom to go wherever you want, really charmed the hell out of me.
Yep, he gives a "stirring" monologue about how global warming isn't a big deal, then dies conveniently at the end of it.
Having read Jurassic Park and having not read Lost World, who is he referring to?
He hosted a screening at the Music Box here in Chicago a few years ago of weird cult movies he was in, and he talked about that.
It's probably better on TV because the violence is mostly cartoonish anyway, and it would cut out the rape scene.
3 might be the most transparently fascist of all of them, making it the most fun. I enjoy these movies from the perspective that they're the most straw-men-killin', suburbia-adorin', gun masturbatin' movies ever assembled, and are nothing but pure fantasy.
I imagine they wanted more money than that.
The terms of the curse are that 90% of what he touches turns to dust.
Wasn't the creator promising to continue it as a Facebook game or some other similarly depressing concept?
I wonder why it never jumped the pond. Did the movie underperform or something over here?
I remember him describing Fable by the way you could cut down a tree, and come back later and the tree would still be gone. And how your facial hair would grow. Then we get the real game, and the combat barely feels like you're involved in it.
It kind of makes sense for Daredevil's fighting style as well…
Yeah, well at least we got Left 4 Dead and Evolve. Would have loved if we had a third game worth writing home about in that style.
