Yep, which means that in addition, since Miatas are still be sold in volume, more of them are going to be new, and even though there are lots of them, the older ones aren’t going to be sold through stealerships.
Miata: “Ow, my back. I can’t drive this car every day anymore.”
It also begs the question of “sold by whom?” I’d venture to guess most 150k+ model, say, Miatas are privates sellers not dealership sales.
The Miatas seem to have fared OK. Of course I live in California, so I might not be seeing the bad terminal cases..
I feel like this is a flawed and mostly worthless report. Why? If I’m reading it correctly, their data points only come from cars that were sold. As cars climb higher in mileage, their value drops. As value drops, two things happen - they are less likely to be fixed when they break and so are scrapped instead of sold,…

Wrong — it has measured metabolic effects beyond losing weight. It’s just that you guys don’t like reading research. The science is clear, it’s not the same thing as eating smaller meals, sorry. No miracles, but it has metabolic advantages to what you suggest based on what worked for your aunt.
I’ve been doing it on and off for like over 8 months now and it works fine for me. Even over the past holiday season I overfed during my window period and still lost weight with zero exercise. I was shocked!
I use time restricted eating to keep my weight down from marathon training. I’ve had much more success with this than with other trendy diets mostly because I can still eat what I want and what is convenient. (I only eat 8am to 4pm)

Sure, the GTI gets you twice the passenger capacity, but the CEL every other week causing it to be in the shop nets you about half the usable driving time of the Miata. So basically, it’s a matter of whether you want to have room for 1 passenger all the time, or 3 passengers half the time.
Because our GTI stranded my wife and kid recently, I have to vote Miata.
We have a GTI in the family, and the answer to this question is Miata all day long, if you can live with only two seats. It’s the better driver’s car.

Speeding, for the person with poor time management that thinks they’re more important than everyone else.
WTF?
You are dumb bud.
California was the first state to really limit emissions and require fuel efficiency, so when the Clean Air Act, and act of Congress passed by Nixon, CA was granted an exemption from the general rule that states can’t pass different standards. In part, this was due to politics, but it was also due to the fact that CA,…
California’s regulations apply only to cars sold in California and other states that voluntarily opt in.
