I had an economics professor back in the day who used to say that the two biggest legal scams in America were the lottery and the insurance industry.

$385m? Jeebus. I’m surprised they haven’t bought their way to freedom.
Agree with the OP. H&M aren’t grifters, they’re just kinda boring normal people without much to talk about once you strip away the pomp.
I wonder how much of the traffic spikes and dips are foreign vs domestic. I don’t know anyone in the US under the age of 40 (literally) who still posts to their account, but Facebook may not feel so dated in other countries.
One would think at $6/hour they’d have a tremendously difficult time finding anyone who qualifies for the job (you need a driver’s license, to be fairly physically fit, to pass a background check, etc.) who would be willing to take it. Even as a part-time/gig worker. Why drive for three hours a day and make <$20, when…
#1, either that’s not her in the picture, or she’s had an awful lot of work done.
I’ve always felt the same. Usually when Pixar targets a specific audience it’s about movies for kids (the Cars sequels, The Good Dinosaur, etc.). Inside Out stands out because it seems like they were going after a very specific demographic.
Brave should be a lot lower. Even Pixar admitted it was a dud. Wall-E had a cool setup, but the second half isn’t great. Up I also find overrated - great beginning, but again once they get to the island, i.e. the second half, it slows way down and gets awfully weird to boot. And I know a lot of people loved Inside Out,…
Huge if so!
This movie is the ultimate cash grab/cultivated media story and I’m fascinated to see how it does financially.
So, pretty much the exact scenario many of us hypothesized in the previous article. Something probably happened, but no NBA/Heat security were involved, and it was his own security that blocked the door.
“Pillaging” two thirds of Twitter’s value implies that Musk extracted that value, and is now deploying it elsewhere (in his bank account, for example). It reality, Musk has simply destroyed two thirds of Twitter’s value. He wishes he pillaged it.
The networks are never, ever going to give Mindy Kaling up. No matter how much the audience tells them they aren’t interested.
But that’s after calling up friends, seeing who else wants to go, checking your calendar, selecting your seats (this is a significant step — it can change what your price is, and charges tacked on later in the process can mess up your budget), sitting online and refreshing, hoping they don’t sell out in seconds, and…
I’m leaning, with not much info, that she knew he was in there and was duped into thinking it was just a meet n greet.
She obviously thinks she has a better chance of being re-elected as a Republican, which is probably true since GOP voters love voting for lying pieces of shit.
Yeah, as has been noted Mad Queen Dany is not a bad ending, and in fact may be the right one. It just needed to be earned and built toward, not to feel like her character did a 180 turn in a span of 10 seconds.
It seems she really just wants to feel special and applauded and Republicans are giving her that, whereas she feels Democrats weren’t kissing her butt enough.
On what’s surely a completely unrelated note, Florida Politics points out that dealers have donated more than $2 million to DeSantis in the last two years
Jerry Seinfeld was 63 years old in 2017. I have zero doubt my parents have no idea who Kesha is either, or could pick her out of a lineup.
