It was terrrrrribllllllle. The ‘90s miniseries wasn’t bad at all, its only limitations were imposed by its being on network TV. Great opening montage, great cast. (Frankly all of that can also be said of the original ‘90s It.)

I am disgusted that modern day Salem has leaned in on its self-branding as Witch City USA—when the victims of the hysteria pleaded their own innocence so fervently, they essentially allowed themselves to be executed rather than pretend to be something they were not. Had they pleaded guilty, they would’ve been spared

So agree. And she looked gorgeous with no hair! Will was so extra.

Not at all! It’s not a slasher at all—it’s a tragic ghost story and SO atmospheric. George C. Scott plays a recent widower who moves into a haunted Victorian mansion in the Seattle area and...things start happening.

The Changeling (1980). Wonderfully spooky ghost story.

That sounds so cool! And God knows, anything is better than the bouquet toss. At my friend’s New Orleans wedding, she did cake pulls with fortunes on the end instead of the bouquet toss.

Yeah, like—he brushed up against her with his junk, it was nothing innocent. Deliberately touched her while still pushing his “hey, I’m just a free spirit who likes to walk around naked!” shtick.

I love him too. I’m no GR expert--haven’t watched all his shows--but he’s so kind to the kid chefs. And he took down that crazy baking woman and her terrible husband who were stealing their server’s tips.

Hatch basically sexually assaulted Sue in the later season where they both appeared (All-Stars) by deliberately brushing up against her when he was naked. She was so disgusted and disturbed, she dropped out. He’s vile.

I mean, she was fucking at least one of the producers at the time

    Okay Jan!

In my experience comedy is comedy independent of the gender of the person making it. If it’s funny it’s funny, if it’s not it’s not.

Yeah, this was a great longform article. And yes, the connection between holy girls denying themselves food for holy reasons and eating disorders is pretty strong. The play Agnes of God mentions this.

Excuse you, it’s Jane Toussaint from School Daze.

Oh GOD, yes! I point that out all the time. Had he shown even the slightest modicum of leadership, at a time when people were dying in droves and we were all terrified—had he reacted as a leader, taken responsibility, acknowledged that people would die but we would push through and they were working on a vaccine—i.e.,

A mistake??! A mistake?! How do you “mistakenly” force sex on multiple resisting women?

    Found on tumblr:

He played Marvel, the male tribute from District One (he sets the trap that kills Rue and is in turn killed by Katniss) in The Hunger Games movie.

What the actual fuck is wrong with these people??!!

JFC. The Depp stans are crawling all over this thread, replying shrilly to every single comment.
