Honestly? I read it as Warren attempting to muscle into her own lane in the center-left.

Bernie is not my first choice for the primary, but Bernie, full-stop, is not pie-in-the-sky. And the best way to talk yourself down is to remember that.

Good point, and fair question. I usually use “Walt”, after Walter White from Breaking Bad. The best part is, Walts don’t usually even know that’s not a complimentary comparison.

Joe, it’s only a bill. Sitting there on Capitol Hill, as I recall.

It’s a bit more hard-edged version of my usual retort: “What about the children?”

In my understanding, the deer of the NW are much larger than those in GA.

You know what, that’s more than a fair point. I was incorrect, and I retract my stratement. The best you can say is that Bloomberg is seen as “white” by the same talking heads that also see him as “electable.” That is not a privilege that everyone will afford him. I should have been more accurate, and I do apologize.

Admittedly, I saw that film early into my foray into horror movies, and I never came back to it like I should have, but that was my recollection as well. Whether the religion in question encourages shagging like bunnies, or complete chastity, ultimately it’s all the same so long as the people in charge harness those

Well, because like many, many candidates that the talking heads in the Democratic Party have prematurely deemed “electable” before, ya know, actually seeing whether the voters might like anything they have to say, Bloomberg does the things that these talking heads deem “important” quite well.

Like a preacher’s wife, Lara has hitched her star to that of her husband and his family, and she is a true believer—in Trump, in his vision. “I never knew her to say no a single time,” said Kellyanne Conway of Lara’s campaigning.

People really need to stop believing in this fantastical trope. All of those hippies and progressives became Reaganites in the 80s and are now Trumpists. Tom Cotton, Marco Rubio, Stephen Miller Laura Southern, and Milo Yiannopoulos are Gen Xers & Millenials and there are plenty of conservatives/far-right in those age

Again, incorrect. The reason there are terrible stories about bullets jumping around inside people (with ARs and other little .22s) is because the bullet isn’t powerful enough to escape the body. It’s not some demon bullet, but simple physics.

My response as well. Not quite “Sir, this is an Arby’s. . .”, but

I do (to both). I have never hunted with an AR-15 because I own more accurate bolt-action rifles, but I know plenty of people who hunt with a semi-automatic rifle because that is all that they own. Most people don’t want to waste another $500 when they already have a tool that works fine for the job.

Thank you all very much for the responses. I really appreciate it, and doubly so playing tight to the vest with the reveals. I’d heard RDR was a great story, so I really wanted to savor it.

It’s times like these I sincerely wish someone had made a .gif version of Henry F. Potter hopping out of his wheelchair in the SNL “lost ending” to It’s a Wonderful Life.

Sincere question; having avoided spoilers for both games, and having just gotten back into console gaming (and just finished, respectively, Skyrim and Witcher 3), my next slated gaming projects were to be Red Dead Redemption (which I have made certain to be backwards-compatible) and Red Dead Redemption II. The closest

Yeah, this is essentially what I said to one of my friends who was nonplussed that his concerns as a crime victim were ignored in the investigation and prosecution: you’re nonplussed because you’re under the impression that this is about you.

My little brother apparently overheats quickly, and when he overheats, he gets violently ill.
