I have a kid that age. When Dion nightcrawlered I got chills and teared up. Imay be getting old and schmaltzy, but this looks pretty fantastic.

MgS, they bought an entire company to do this and apparently it didn’t work out so well.
I’m in agreement, but I have to believe that someone at Tesla thinks that another stock issue would tank the stock hard. Otherwise, they would’ve done so when the stock was $380 rather than issuing junk bonds which is now part of the source of their woes.
Which means, this is probably the last time they can go out for…
If they never get the price below $50k, which is almost exactly the amount the average American household makes in a year, it’s going to be extremely disappointing.
Especially since GM got there a year ago.
I’ve run the numbers. For myself, a Model 3 pays for itself over a comparable sedan in over 15 years. Keep in…
PS1 though SNES is close.
Um, I was pretty sure who the villain was in Persona 5, but I didn’t expect to have it spoiled for me in an article about Sonic Forces. Womp womp. :-(
Lovely article.
I can’t remember the last prevalent combo deck in standard before Aetherworks or Copy Cat. Jeskai ascendancy and temur ascendancy get kind of close, but they former was a synergistic aggro deck and the latter wasn’t very good.
It’s.... kind of a terrible idea. Magic has always been a game of managing resources and the idea was there was always a way to interact with your opponents’ resources.
Between this, FFXV having its Xenogears disc 2 moment, and Nier Automat crashing so often in PC it’s unplayable for many, be very careful buying Square Enid games.
It’s funny you mention the film adaptations. While I really dislike the Wanted and Kick-Ass books, in some ways I felt like they were even more disgusting for commercializing and sanitizing Millar’s sneering misanthropy and packaging it up for the public.
I don’t think Millar is a sexist or a racist, but his works are genuinely misanthropic. His edgelord stuff always has had the power to disturb a bit because it seems to have some genuine hatred behind it. And probably hatred for his audience most of all. Either it comes from somewhere genuine, or he’s just…
There are a number of anime I love that have fan service. Gurren Lagann. Gunbuster. Evangelion. Danganronpa. Rereading the list it seems to be almost entirely Gainax, and I’d prefer it if each toned it down. I’d say I love them in spite of their fan service. Besides Eva, each has really fantastic and fully-realized…
The worst is when a show pulls this or turns into a harem show six episodes in. Nothing worse then an anime doing this after a promising start.
Given this article, you’ve convinced me to give that show another go. Like KLK it turned me off with its fan service-y aspects (specifically the treatment of an 11 year old which you brought up)
One of the biggest problems is it makes it hard to differentiate between simple trashy tittilation that isn’t worth one’s time and something more. I’d prefer Gurren Lagann’s heroine Yoko was less... pneumatic but I’m extremely glad I watched the show.
I still can’t believe that a moderator having a hissy fit and unilaterally shutting down a subreddit is still being spun the way it has by Kotaku. It didn’t have to be shut down and if some posters calling Sean Murray a liar is “toxic”, well I guess I’m “toxic” too.
This reads like some kind of redpill nonsense with the genders switched.
There’s a lot to like with Chrono Cross, but the game is horribly paced, with info dumps that rival Xenosaga in their verbosity, lack of meaningful drama, and sheer length. The main plot rivals FFXIII and Xenosaga in meaningless, masturbatory convolution. However it was inarguably unique, at times poignant in its…
Cecilia, I’ve really enjoyed your articles. They’re written with passion and present me with a side of gaming Ive never been privy to.
