Well, if for some reason you really think that the eventual sales of the games discussed during a press conference impacts your enjoyment of the conference itself (lol), then you are in for a treat! Call of Duty, Gears, Forza, Halo and Skyrim will all be huge hits.

I think last year on G4 they ran the conferences again overnight, after their live coverage ended. And Gametrailers had the whole conferences up pretty quick. Hopefully both these are options again because I am in the same boat.

He was asked what he thought makes the NGP stand out and answered in a pretty standard, straightforward manner. The closest actual quote to that is when he states "We have to really create the reason for people to look at the NGP and say, 'This is what I want.'

Haha, I guess you are right.

I think you may be on to something. I have never been to a Gamestop that I wouldn't describe as shitty. Just kidding, couldnt resist...

Isnt the main reason Gamestop runs out of copies so often tied in to the way that they under order counting on loading up on used copies in the weeks after release?

The only times store specific bonuses annoy me are when different stores have different items.

Fear 3 is a day one for me and I am dying to see how Colonial Marines turned out, but a Halo 1 and 2 HD remake package with online coop would be the best thing I could possibly hope to see at the MS press conference.

In the context of his post, I think he meant he doesnt like MvC but maybe they would make a good entry in that series game someday. Never played much of those, but you didnt list it so maybe he is on to something...

Gamestop is a wonderful place to shop. I am completely in love with the knowledgeable staff, the stores that do not smell like feet and baby blankets and the fantastic preorder bonuses for which they pay through the nose as a public service to us, the consumer! I love Gamestop. They are much better than Cats.

The same types of people that would pay for Bungie Pro. People that spend dozens of hours per month running up and down the multi player ranks and want another way to show off their wacky, lucky kills.

@WittyUserName: Great question. Or what if someone waits until January (or whenever the new maps are released) to sign up? Will they get the packs, then can their subscription?

You will probably get some great game deals, but with blue rays they usually send them out to surviving stores pretty early on. Don't think I've seen better than 10% off before they disappear en masse.

What does integrity have to do with anything? If they had just buried the info, whoever leaked it to them would have sent it to someone else. If it got out that they had a bunch of details about the game but didnt publish them because they didnt think it would be cool to spoil the paper thin story and/or annoy

Same here. Far and away my favorite thing about MW2, and I hope they flesh it out even further.

@WhoKnew?: In my own perfect fantasy world the Halo Waypoint comparison would turn out to be quite accurate.

@Cutriss: If that really strikes you as a "horrible comment" then you and I have very different internet histories. I envy you.

Love it, its my all time favorite game. I could talk about it all day but I won't spout on about it because so many players seem to love giving tips and gear to look out for but its not a complex game and figuring things out is part of its charm. The campaign is definitely worth playing through, but I know its tough

@Slothboy: Why isnt commentary necessary? Because of how irrelevant that cartoon has become in the five years since it was published?

"If these guys dont get him, you know what Im going to have to do? Im going to go to fuckin' Islamabad and snap the thumb and forefinger of every single person I see who even resembles the kind of wanker who would be walking around in this day and fucking age with a name like fucking Osama"
