OK I was wrong about a relatively minor point but you’re ignoring that 20 (or even 40) cars is noweher near “production”. I bet that the Renault TwinRun would be even faster than the Juke-R but there’s only a few of those in the world.

If they got it down to 3200 lbs and 365 HP it would have a similar power/weight to the current Mustang GT but with AWD and likely better brakes.

I’m pretty sure there is only 1 (or at least less than 10, it’s definitely not production) total Juke-R’s.

Too much redevelopment costs. If they were gonna make a mid engined focus they would’ve done it with the RS. Look at the veloster. It desperately needs more speed to be even slightly interesting and there’s even (a) mid-engined mule(s) running around but it’s never going to happen.
