It's middle-to-lower-upper-middle-tier King - not brilliant, but a solid B-movie premise done well. If you're over zombies, I probably wouldn't go back to it, as it's a zombie story, which is why it's so weird that they still went forward with this movie, given that the market is so saturated.

"Later that day, I got to thinking about Puerto Rico, and I couldn't help but wonder, with the hedge fund vultures circling, is it worth it to hedge my bets with Big?"

And suddenly, in the midst of this constant diarrheal spray of a year, at the end of a horrible day, the world had a wonderful human moment, and the sun came out, and we danced.

It's both "what the hell is he doing in this?" and "of course he's in this" that one of his most recent works is a cameo in Alvin and the Chipminks: Road Chip.

I'm only slightly more than skin-deep in my appreciation of Prince - I've seen all his movies, have his Greatest Hits and a few other random things in my music collection, but I'd never call myself a superfan, especially in comparison to Bowie, who I was much deeper into (lol). However, I'm a gay guy with a range of

When it first started catching on, our local video store had a poster with a frame from Jaws, the "here's what you're missing with fullscreen" bars on the image, and a brief explanation of widescreen, how it looks on your TV, why it's better, etc. They had a little shelf in the corner that was just widescreen movies,

And for all that reworking, all anyone came away from the movie with is Poe/Finn.

Don't forget Jody Hill, who played a crucial part in this and E&D and Observe and Report!

I hated it the first time, and thought it was OK the second time. Its basic flaw is that all of its ideas are spent by the 30-minute mark. It's actually an ideal Comedy Central movie, since you can pop in and out of it and not miss much, which I imagine added to its cult success.

It also doesn't help that all the stories about weed legalization support those stereotypes and dumb jokes. Remember that protest in front of the White House a few weeks back? In the first five seconds of the news clip I watched about it, there was a white guy with dreads and someone wearing a Grateful Dead T-shirt.

Other than the time Pitbull went to Alaska, are there instances of contests in which people come up with stupid joke answers and the people who run the contest follow through? I know there's more.

It was a bad movie, but for me, it was bad in a "who cares?" way, rather than a teeth-gritting, "this fucking piece of shit" way. There was two and a half hours of incoherent sound and light on the screen, and I sat there feeling no emotion/involvement one way or the other, and forgot it by the time I got to the

I was in the same boat. The Jungle Book was never one of my favorites, in book or Disney form, as a kid (see also: Peter Pan), and there was nothing really wrong with any of the promo I saw for this version, but there was never anything that made me feel particularly compelled to see it. I'll probably catch it some

This is a dumb one. I'm a sucker for the Final Destination franchise, and the fourth one was:

I remember zero segments from the Paris installment (well, I remember that Alfonso Cuaron's was one take and had Nick Nolte, but that goes back to the bad writing point made in the review). I only vaguely recall a couple from the New York one. Anthology films are inherently uneven, but you gotta be batting at least

I'm glad she's having a resurgence - Girlfight was great, and her two studio films had some interesting subtext, despite not being very good.

Yup. Fucking up my finances in my early-to-mid-20's didn't fuck me up for life, but it took almost two years to pull myself out of the debt hole and get my credit score back on track.

Reality Bites could also fuel a "movies where you side more with the antagonist the older you get" inventory. I didn't see it until I was 23-24 and watched it with a friend who hadn't seen it since high school, and you could see her perception shifting as it progressed.

His last special was decent, but he's running the risk of becoming an Onion headline.

Empire Records could kick off an inventory of Movies You Love If You Saw Them Before High School Graduation, But If You Didn't, You Don't.
