Well, Alaska sure knows her audience.

I wouldn't say Chi Chi peaked way earlier. She had a couple of weak main challenges at top 7 & 6 weeks, but now she has an all-time legendary lip sync on her resume and a near-win this week as well. Combined with her strong personal story and Ru's penchant for underdog queens, I'd give her a slight edge over Naomi.

I agree that the S8 episode is far superior, but at least the S4 ep gave us Chad's glorious runway look and Latrice's "and I'm at peace with that" read of Phi Phi (maybe my fave read on the show ever!).

I believe Chad's look was iconic, yes, but the rest of the top five were all pretty terrible.

I felt the same way, but even more strongly, about Violet's performances in the main challenges last season. She was acceptable, but when it comes to who I'd actually pay to see perform and do good for the community, I'd much rather support someone who focuses more on entertainment and less on look.

Perhaps I'm just still feeling the glow of an inarguably iconic lip sync, but right now I'd call this one of my absolute favorite episodes of the show ever. I can't even watch Untucked yet — insert Lagajna "this is too fucking much!" gif — after seeing that runway, the videos, and of course that ending. I'm

My personal favorite is her "Circle of Life." She's such a beautiful earth soul clown goddess and she gives me circles and circles of life. — https://www.youtube.com/wat…

I also thought this episode was a blast. This season is refreshingly unexpected.

I can't wait for the new article to appear so can I just say that episode 9 was PERFECTION?

"Crisp on the outside but soft on the inside — just like Mary Berry" is perhaps my favorite quote of this brief series thus far. A+, Ian.

Agreed. I thought these were classic, A-grade episodes. The post-immunity challenge segment (music, cinematography, pacing) in the second one was masterfully edited.

I wasn't much on board with this tense, uncomfortably humorous episode until the reveal of Louie in makeup. Then, once Pamela put on the cap and Louie introduced us to Jornatha, the tension broke and I laughed harder at any episode of television than I have in a long time. Just really fantastic stuff, and CK and

I agree with you about how similarly the sentiment about this season lines up with Cagayan… and personally, much of my appreciation for S28 came after the finale and Tony's stunning (and to me, unexpected) win. Even if Mike does win this season, my satisfaction with it will likely be clouded with the dullness of the

This whole season is one Lucy-Charlie Brown-football-takeaway after another. Now I know how Spencer felt in Cagayan.

This was my exact thought as well.

M83 + Annie Lennox is a perfect descriptor.  I'll be using that to help recommend this.

I'm a bit late to the game here, but my god, Cate Blanchett gives the best lead actress performance in at least five years.  She's absolutely arresting.

The last paragraph gave me chills.  Bravo, Mr. VanDerWerff.
