But in order to make your comment. You had to already know that those things happened. What are you missing out on, by Deadspin not reporting things that you already know?
You’re basically going to McDonalds and complaining becasue the won’t serve you a Whopper. If you want a fucking Whopper, go to Burger King.

I think you’re confusing this for a sports news site. If you want a straight take of the top stories, there are dozens of places for you. This does not need to be another one of those sites.

The security guard in black at the bottom of the stairs in the gif...His reaction just makes my day.

A hidden aspect. In addition to getting 2 solid to good pitching prospects, Aybar is no slouch. And he’s cheap.
Many teams need SS help come the trade deadline, and I can’t imagine a better SS being on the market come July. Simmons could turn into 3+ solid prospects, which is a pretty good swap for a 3ish WAR player.

Even if they don’t add pitchers. Those ERAs will come down. The goal isn’t to have the best pitchers. It’s to give up the fewest runs. Simmons helps a TON on this front.

I don’t think MLB has any control over whether posting fees will exist or not. They’re the price of doing business with Asian clubs. Though there may be some way to alter MLB’s side of the process.

That’s my fav Elton tune. Of course, Elton didn’t write it by himself. (And the piano part sounds like a lot of other John songs, no?, which would make the best part...not Elton John.)
And I’m not saying Joel leaves John in the dust. I’m saying it’s odd that Elton is held up as miles above Joel...when they’re

I agree this makes sense, and I like the ideas. I just wonder how it would work for the Asian leagues, which currently require posting fees.
Would it be a “you draft him, you try to work it out with the team” situation? Would the league pony up money for the fee and the player is released into the draft?

I would actually read the first 15 pages of a speculative fiction novel based on this premise. If it was good, I’d continue.

I’m not saying this snarkily.
I’m sure there are tons of kids whose parents loved Billy Joel, and listened a lot when they were younger and grew to love the music. So, no you’re probably not the only one. And growing up on the East Coast in general probably increases the odds, Long Island especially so.

Maybe I’m hopelessly American...but I’ve tried to be cool and like Elton John more than Billy Joel, and I just can’t do it.
I can’t even really wrap my head around why this is the prevailing opinion. Much of Elton John’s catalog is hokier than Joel’s (which is saying something!). And much of John’s catalog is a lot

“Just the Way You Are”: Because shitty grammar shouldn’t stop you from getting at least 6 stars.

Nope. Dusty Baker is a guy (baseball manager). He smoked with Jimi Hendrix.

“How dare you be disrespectful by reading a book! I’m trying to build a wall to keep out all the rapist Lations here!”

This.
These are the same disingenuous assholes who would blame the protesters if one of Trump’s goon-followers beat up a protester. “Why were they there in the first place? They should just live and let live.”

Are you going to post this in every thread, troll?

So, you’re willing to admit to us all that rather than being brainwashed into thinking Trump’s xenophobia is cool...you just came to that conclusion all on your own?
I guess that’s better.

Yes.

If I had twitter, I would troll the fuck out of the guys involved here.
This is probably why I don’t have twitter.
