Knowing people from the upper Midwest, I have no trouble believing that Amy Klobuchar is a psychopath who is overly fake polite to people’s faces and then turns around and hurls slurs (as well as casserole dishes) at people’s heads because they mildly displeased her. That’s a VERY Minnesota/Wisconsin/Michigan thing.

Or how they went in HARD on the “why didn’t Bernie know and take care of these sexual harassment/assault allegations from his 2016 campaign?” angle?

It’s not that they’re radical. It’s that young people are easily impressed.

Even if they started with prescription meds, I’ve seen it happen firsthand three times and I have no sympathy. Every time you indulge, that’s a choice. The other choices may be really, really hard to make by comparison, but it’s still a choice. Get help or get a fix. Reach out or withdraw. Nothing in life worth having

Also, I think it goes without saying that people should have free and fair elections and no outside countries should have any say in said elections, nor, obviously, should they use military force to “correct” what they consider a wrong.

I now have a very realistic mental image of Hamilton attempting to eat ice cream (organic paleo-friendly ice cream from a shop ran out of a converted credit union, of course; ginger-lemon flavor) with a fork and getting increasingly frustrated as he workshops zingers for his eventual blog post about this harrowing

Try having a bigger mouth.

Entry level fast food prep work? I bet it’s great! I hope I’m not surprised to find out that a shitty job a teenager is supposed to take as an introduction to the workforce pays kinda poorly and isn’t something to make a career!

I’m pretty sure that the last year and a half has damaged Carlson’s brain to the point that he doesn’t know what he’s talking about anymore, let alone whether it squares with positions he took last year, last month, or last night.

Also, take it from someone who’s been on the internet for a minute or two: lots, LOTS, of people, get worked up into a tizzy over unimportant shit. Remember The Dress?

This. Investigations take time and they’re not like they are on TV. Most of the time, they’re kinda boring (plus, the public doesn’t get to see the cool parts 90% of the time).

Doesn’t even have to be that the report is kinda empty and boring. The report could be filled with bombshells and photos/video of Trump himself involved in various crimes.

This. Am I allowed not to like him because he’s accomplished virtually nothing of note in all of his time as a senator, has made enemies of politically likeminded coworkers and have whiffed on every opportunity he was given in 2016, sometimes humiliatingly so, to explain HOW he intended to make his platform a reality,

And that he already lost to Hillary decisively, who then lost to Trump, so the math supports  Bernie being an easy out for Trump.

I was born in the greys, molded by them.

Then they won’t get hired. They’ll just sign on in an advisory role. If that’s illegal, then they’ll just be doing some consultancy work for them.

The day is young (and so is she).

There is no market worth pursuing for sub-NFL-quality football. Every time someone tries to do this, the same thing happens: people tune in opening week because they THINK they want some fun football of no consequence, the game either sucks ass or is fine and completely forgettable and either way, no resolution is

The majority of left-leaning citizens. You get a different picture when you view America through the prism of Splinter or whoever, but the majority of people in this country live toward the middle, politically. They’re just not as inclined to be super loud about it.

This is what being too online looks like, man. Take a break.
