Your guess is shit, I’m guessing. You don’t know me, don’t fucking presume to.

Blake Lively, subject of the brilliant 2015 documentary The Age of Adaline, has finally shot back at critics of the controversial Instagram post from last month in which she described herself as having an “L.A. face with an Oakland booty.” Her caption, taken from Sir Mix-A-Lot’s “Baby Got Back,” immediately irked

Why don’t they just circulate the real story of Dennis Hastert raping boys right here at home?

...Good? I was getting preeeeetty tired of the upper middle class white girls on my feeds telling a black artist he was wrong about his interpretation of his own work.

For years, I thought the lyric was “L.A. face with an open booty.”

the grammar and language in this article is atrocious.

i think insisting that he simply had a dependency due to chronic pain and not an addiction (despite multiple over doses which points to not using meds correctly) is so dangerous and hurtful to the large amount of people with chronic pains and addictions. i think you’d be shocked at the amount of people in rehabs and

yeah. ive been noticing this a lot surrounding this topic. lots of people with chronic pain going to lengths to say prince was not an addict because he had chronic pain. like the two are mutually exclusive? there are MANY addicts with very real chronic pain and their addictions stemmed from the chronic pain issue.

he had two ODs in a week. that is more than a dependence. that is someone not responsibly taking his medications, like an addict would. people simply dependent on painkillers for chronic illness do not have multiple ODs days apart

If it makes you feel any better, I do consistently discipline my kids, and I still get chaos, sass, and hitting.

Aren't boys molested very often as well? Little girls and boys are both very vulnerable creatures. It's mostly men who do it though.

Exactly what I was thinking. “Odd” is insisting on wearing mismatched socks every day or habitually putting the milk in the cabinet instead of the refrigerator. This is just fucking insane.

Not to nitpick, but what’s wrong with saying he was addicted? Addiction can be physical or psychological dependence and is more often than not a mix of both. I find it quite stigmatising how we have to clarify that Prince was not a lowly drug addict as if he were treating mental or emotional pain, he would be somehow

Because what, addicts are bad people? Pretty shaming of you.

I think what was meant is that she was the first to notice that he was overdosing on the flight, not the first to notice that he had drug dependencies in general.

She lost someone close and people have different ways of coping.

“We knew it was only a matter of time; we had to get him down,” she told herNYT interviewer. “We didn’t have anything on the plane to help him.”

Actually, that’s a relatively normal frame of time. It’s likely the prosecutor was refusing to file charges until investigators could produce x, y, and z. Unfortunately, it can often take years to gather everything needed to build a solid case. Most cold cases are not unsolved. Usually, detectives have a general idea

These cases are so fucking sad. Like, I just cannot see harming any child, but it’s almost always a case where these kids are hurt or killed as some sort of revenge or in a fit of rage that really has nothing to do with them. It’s to hurt their parent, for whatever awful reason.

“Noyes, who separated from Cass’ mother months after the murder, exhibited odd behavior after his stepdaughter’s abduction and subsequent death—which included crawling in front of cameras on the front porch of his former home after pretending to throw an imaginary grenade—after being questioned in front of the press
