Hey, can we not let Mel Gibson’s rehabilitation be a thing maybe? We’re kicking out all of the serial sexual abusers...maybe there’s room in the dumpster for serial abusers who are also unrepentant bigots?

Please, Mr. Grillo, wise up and run like the devil from the cross: it’s a beaten dead horse of a story, directed by a hack, and with a PR disaster ticking bomb.

I’m really very annoyed that Hollywood is suddenly once again okay with raging bigot Mel Gibson. Is he talented sure? But he’s a horrible human being who doesn’t deserve any success.

Interesting! I’m a real sucker for this kind of conceit. And who doesn’t love Groundhog Day or Edge of Tomorrow? I won’t see it with Mel Gibson, though; he can take this image rehab tour and shove it.

I’ll have to go look - finally have time to watch it tonight, so I’ll wait - don’t want to spoil it, and I’ll probably have more questions after I watch it anyway!

I’m looking forward to reading this comic leading up to the release of Pacific Rim Uprising. I read Pacific Rim: Year Zero which came out after the first film and really enjoyed it. I’m hoping I feel the same about this one.

A trailer is a commercial for a movie. I can only speak for the movie.

Authentic sounds all custom recorded for the film, cut by a sound editor who just won an Academy Award, not a single “scene” appears in the teaser or the trailer.

I always wonder why Frank Grillo isn’t an A-list superstar. He’s a good actor, good looking, makes a good action hero. He was great in Winter Soldier and the few seconds he was in Civil War. He’s the best part of the Purge series. What gives?

I loved the original film. Pure, gleeful, bright-blue-lit monster mayhem! The giant capture-creatures that looked like spawn of Cthulhu were bad-assed.

Frank Grillo rules. I’ll watch anything he’s in.

Since everyone else will be going to that other movie, I’ll use my moviepass on it and give it a shot. I might watch the other movie after a couple of weeks too, but it’s no guarantee. I only saw the last two because I got free tickets. Rogue one was ok, the other one, not so much.

I giggled throughout the whole thing, but laugh-screamed at the end 😂
