It’s 100% fake. Pretty bummed they led with that one on this year’s post. Still, I love these, and on balance the stories are great and believable (even though I have, unfortunately, come to the conclusion that ghosts aren’t real, as much as I want them to be).

Popeye’s makes second attempt to save 2020. We’ll see if it succeeds.

I honestly don’t know why anyone would get into a non-limited Netflix series at this point.

I can’t speak on Aqua Teen, ( never watched show) But removing the Boondocks episode is so fucking stupid. So are we getting to the point where black people can’t make fun of racism? I bet a white person made this decision.

The charges reflect the danger Hankison posed to Taylor’s neighbors.

It’s actually from “Blood libel”, which is a *very* old anti-Semitic thing.  Old bigot nonsense dressed up as new bigot nonsense.

I love the hell out of The Boys, but I instinctively shuddered multiple times reading this.

I have a feeling you’d find a way to be annoyed if they were replacing him with an Icelandic voice actor as well.

I mean the press release even says “‘entry-level’ spice” which to me says “Hey, White People: This is okay for you. You do not have to be scared of this sandwich.

It might be good, but usually when it comes to fast food, “Savory” means “salty,” “Sweet” means “corn syrup,” and “spicy” means nothing.

And even Silence of the Lambs, which certainly plays with the trope, takes the time to explain that Buffalo Bill wasn’t trans. Like, they have a whole plot point where they look for the killer through folks getting reassignment surgery (which, yikes) and the breakthrough is that he didn’t qualify because he isn’t

I’m surprised there is no mention of Paul Lynde, one of the most obvious inspirations for Roger.
