You’re dead right, it IS a good thing. I think the situation is a snake eating it’s own tail - more clothing is cheaper, so we buy more clothing, so the diversity of our wardrobes can and does expand, then that massive wardrobe starts trending and therefore we need cheaper clothing to keep up.
