Half of the allegations are about rapes that happened not just on set, but on tape. Given that those women got no support and in at least one case got yelled at for ruining the scene by crying, I’m not exactly ready to applaud the industry’s response.

This show is such a trainwreck, but goddamn if I don't love every minute of Jamie Lee Curtis. Best part of the show.

And, of course, we don’t actually know if any of these women have survived domestic violence and not gone public with it. Imagine how painful it would be to see your face photoshopped with bruises if you were a survivor.

Sorry, I cannot get behind this. It does nothing to get the point across of domestic violence and how it affects women.

Oof. Another problem with domestic violence awareness like this is folks assume it looks like your face is all bruised and cut up. As one of my clients said, “I preferred the beatings. The bruises heal, but I still can’t get the words out of my head.”

Agreed. There is absolutely nothing unique about his beliefs regarding women. In fact, they’re pretty popular. They’re espoused by our politicians, for fuck’s sake.

I think it’s irrelevant what his mental status is. Scores of people have mental illnesses and do not do this. Scores of people are violent against women in this same way and do not have a mental illness. Yes. This is not a mental health issue. It’s a violence against women issue. Carly Fiorina, Jason Chaffetz, and the rest of that garbage pile are directly and personally responsible for this bullshit.

It would be a mistake to write this guy off as a random lunatic when he represents everything fundamentalist religions stand for. They seem to love forgiving men for crimes like abuse and rape and then go out of their way to demonize women for accessing legal health care.

but seriously, we are all goddamned ADULTS! Our own bedrooms should be a fucking perk of being an adult.

If I had as much money as Bey and Jay I would have TWO ROOM PER PERSON. TWO ROOMS AND AN EN SUITE EACH. Because why have that much money and still share a bed with someone when you can have a triple king size and your own clubhouse all to yourself?
